Fire is one of the most dangerous elements in nature, one must be careful when manipulating it because we can cause damage to ourselves or our environment.

In Splinterlands fire is synonymous with speed and physical power, at least to me it seems that way, and is that the followers of the torch are characterized by being fast and lethal. Don't you agree? I invite you to see the next battle.

Why do I use the fire splinter?

The fire splinter is one of the ones that I usually use, personally I think it is a very undervalued splinter, although apparently with the arrival of the untamed cards with the opportunity skill this is beginning to change.

What I like most the fire splinter is the speed of their cards, it is fun to win battles in just a couple of rounds leaving the opponent without a chance to attack you, the secret to using the fire splinter efficiently lies in using also their magic cards and their archers, as I see that many users only care about placing monsters of melee type which is not always beneficial.

The line up

This is a team that relies mostly on damage and speed.

  • The Serpentine Soldier as the main tank in the first line. I love this card, it is untouchable by monsters of melee or archers, perhaps a little weak with respect to magic but at least thanks to its speed, is assured that at least perform an attack.
  • I like to place the chicken in the second position, this way it will protect the other cards from at least one attack from snipers or monsters with opportunity.
  • The Creeping Ooze and the Flame Imp, will give an important speed boost making my Serpentine Soldier really untouchable.
  • In the end, the Highland Archer will do a little more additional damage, with a good speed.

The strategy work?

Although the result of the battle was satisfactory, the strategy staggered a little, my enemy also used the fire splinter with cards like the Creeping Ooze and the Flame Imp that boosted their speed accompanied by the Goblin Shaman that in my opinion was the card that complicated me a little the thing, although in the end to have been a battle with Silenced Summoners made me take advantage of that extra point of mana to make a better team than the enemy.

What did you think of this strategy? Did you use a different fire team?
