Hola a todas y todos. Hoy me he levantado temprano (cosas de irse también temprano a la cama), así que he pensado en hablaros sobre otra de las cartas que mantengo en colección en SteemMonsters. En este caso se trata de una carta promocional (que se puede conseguir originalmente en los orbes): mi Enchanted Defender.

Hello everyone. I woke up early today (early to bed stuff too), so I thought I'd talk to you about another of the cards I keep in my SteemMonsters collection. In this case it's a promotional card (that you can get originally in the orbs): my Enchanted Defender.

Esta es una carta que deseché coleccionar desde un principio. Usaba otras en su lugar y no parecía que pudiera tener mucha utilidad para mí, a la hora de jugar combates. Pero eso cambió con la llegada de monstruos con la habilidad "oportunidad" (atacan al rival con menos puntos de vida), lo cual hizo que la carta que hoy nos ocupa fuera, de repente, bastante más útil. Al llegar a nivel 5, no demasiado, adquiere la habilidad "throns" (devuelve 2 de daño a los ataques melee). Eso, junto a su abultada armadura y su punto de vida explican el por qué.

This is a card I discarded to collect from the beginning. I used others instead and it didn't seem to be much useful to me, when it came to playing combats. But that changed with the arrival of monsters with the "opportunity" skill (they attack the opponent with less life points), which made the card we are dealing with today suddenly much more useful. When it reaches level 5, not too much, it acquires the "throns" skill (returns 2 damage to melee attacks). That, along with his bulky armor and his life point, explains why.

La compré hará quizá algo más de dos meses, en nivel 5 directamente, gastando alrededor de 1600 DECs (que por aquel entonces, también, valían algo más que ahora). Lo cierto es que no la uso demasiado, pero cuando sí lo hace bastante bien. Creo que de momento la voy a mantener, de hecho, es posible que próximamente la suba uno o dos niveles más.

I bought it maybe a little over two months ago, in level 5 directly, spending around 1600 DECs (which at that time, also, were worth a little more than now). The truth is that I don't use it much, but when I do, it does quite well. I think I'm going to keep it for now, in fact, I may raise it one or two more levels soon.

Y recuerda, si juegas Steemmonsters... tómate unos segundos antes de cada combate y revisa el modo de jugar de tu oponente ¡Da tiempo suficiente y puede ser determinante en el camino a la victoria!
