Splinterlands - Lucky Daily Quest Rewards

Splinterlands is an online Trading Card Game running on the Steem blockchain and with some Tron blockchain functionality.

One way to gain value is through the Daily Quest. This is a challenge to win five ranked battles with a particular Splinter (magick type.) If you complete the quest you will earn some free Reward edition cards that you can use to improve your deck or you can sell them on the open market.

Depending on your current rank you will get more or less cards. There are four levels of increasing rarity: Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary. Also, any of these could be Gold Foil edition, which is even more rare and useful. There are potions you can buy that make Legendary and Gold Foil edition cards more likely, but I don't have any of those active right now.

The last two sets of reward cards that I've received have been pretty lucky! I've shared screenshots of both here in this blog post. Both days I got six Reward edition cards. Half of these are Rare and one of those Rare cards is also Gold Foil edition! That rare gold foil card is currently listed at over $3 in the marketplace. Not bad! My wife and son opened those cards, so I'll have to get them to open them more often. ;)
