Splinterlands Battle Challenge with PIRATE ARCHER.

Welcome to my another Splinterlands Battle Challenge.
In this post; I'll share my winning match with PIRATE ARCHER in splinterlands.

If you're one of my followers then you should already know that I don't play with water splinter.
So I had to play with dragon splinter to use this archer.
I'm not sure but I think we had this monster as the theme once before.
It's a ranged attacker with "Blast" ability in level 1.
I didn't have any single card of this monster in my collection and then I went to the market and bought 5 cards and combined em into level 3.
The visual of this monster is so cool and I don't know why it seems as robin hood to me ;)
For its ranged attack, it's best to use far from the front monster unless it's a battle with something special ruleset.
Stats of Pirate Archer
Now my Pirate Archer is in level 3 which offers me 1 ranged attack, 2 speed & e health with "Blast" ability.
And it needs 2 mana to play.
- I've created this post sharing a gameplay link of one of my battles using PIRATE ARCHER.
- I just finished tagging splinterlands.
- So, to explain my lineup... Why did I use the cards I did? And why in that order?
Yeah about that... In this match; I've played with dragon splinter using the water team.
A Brief Info About The Match
The battles mana cap was 15 with "Healed Out & Close range" Rules.
I used dragon splinter using the water team for the match while my opponent used water splinter.
My Lineup.
I had my Summoner CAMILA SUNGAZER in level 3, Elven Cutthroat in level 5, Manticore in level 3, Pirate Archer in level 3 & Highland Archer in level 4.
And my opponent had his/her cards as Furious Chicken (Gold) in level 3, Serpent Eld in level 1, Albatross in level 1 & Feasting Seaweed in level 1.
Let me talk about cards that I used in this battle.
Summoner: CAMILA SUNGAZER (LEGENDARY Dragon Summoner) - as summoner.
It is said that Camila Sungazer received her summoning abilities from visions wrought by staring day after day at the noon sun for her entire life. She is, of course, completely blind from staring at the sun, but her magic is most impressive - Source.
This is the first legendary summoner that I added to my deck.
I only had rare summoners before and then I was searching for some nice cards that have bigger DEC as burning price as I was and am still looking for unlocking new leagues that need many more collections more.
This summoner seemed a perfect one so I bought some to it and made it level 3.
She offers -1 melee attack to all enemy melee monsters.
She needs 3 mana for battle.

No 01: Elven Cutthroat (Common Neutral Monster)
This is the monster that reminds me of some characters of Lord of The Rings movie series.
This little monster has nice power with low mana (3).
This is a perfect monster for little league battles.
I made it level 5 long before and then I couldn't anymore.
My Elven Cutthroat is in level 5 with 2 melee attack, 4 speed, 3 health with "Sneak" ability.
It needs 3 mana.

No 02: Manticore (Epic Dragon Monster)
Manticore is one of my favorite monsters in dragon splinter.
I can't think of any other melee attacker with "Reach" ability than Manticore. when I play with dragon splinter.
My Manticore is in level 3 with 2 melee attack, 3 speed, 7 health with "Flying & Reach" ability.
It needs 4 mana.

No 03: Pirate Archer (Rare Water Monster)
I don't play with water splinter and that's why I don't have many beautiful memories with this one.
My Pirate Archer is in level 3 with 1 ranged attack, 2 speed, 3 health with "Blast" ability.
It needs 2 mana.

No 04: Highland Archer (Common Neutral Monster)
My Highland Archer is in level 7 with 2 ranged attack, 4 speed, 4 health.
It needs 3 mana.

- In my personal opinion... PIRATE ARCHER is a nice fit for the ruleset for its power and ability.
- Yeah, my strategy worked out perfectly and I'll try to use similar helpful monsters next time if I need to.
- No, as I don't play with water splinter so I don't get to play with this card.
- I'm going to share this post with the #splinterlands hashtag on twitter after publishing this post.
On the battlefield.
Elven Cutthroat of my team started the battle with its first attack and killed the gold foil furious chicken with the only shot.
Then my Pirate Archer who is the theme monster, killed another monster of opponent team with blast.
Having low health, my Elven Cutthroat died at a point and then two of my ranged monsters includes Pirate Archer attacked and missed on the front monster of opponent team.
Another round came... my Manticore killed the front opponent monster with one shot and now the opponent had only one single monster while I still had 3 monsters left.
Then my both archers attacked and killed the last monster of opponent.
It was indeed a fantastic battle that my team fought although I was lucky to have an opponent with weak monsters than mine.

I always forget you don't play with Water much.
But, for real, this guy is pretty awesome just to have in your pocket when you DO need to play Water. I think that blast at level one, with such a cheap mana cost is pretty awesome.
