Yes, double strike is extremely useful when monsters have sneak ability or they attack from any position. And inspire adds up to great power. Since it attacks twice, it can even take down 2 monsters with low health.
Speed and health are low for such monsters so they can be used in only specific ruleset.

They’re also pretty dangerous when you have double shield active so they can take a few knocks in first position and maybe ride out 1 or 2 rounds of double attack
