This week's share your battle challenge involves using a card from the fire splinter.

A newcomer who provides a breath of a barely used skill on lower levels.

It lives on hot terrain and it is said that he forges the best weaponry on the fire lands

Not only is he one of the best blacksmiths out there, he's a living furnace!

Without further ado let's look into it!

Theme: Flamesmith

The Flamesmith is a common card from the dice edition released during the untamed series.

It requires a high amount of mana, has a ranged attack of two and a great defense.

Somewhat on the same level with other cards from the fire splinter

Its main selling point is the shatter ability. With one strike it is able to destroy an entire armor.

This is what makes the flamesmith an interesting asset.

At level four its attack increases to 3.

At level six it obtains the repair ability.

The Flamesmith can be yours for 0.076$ at the moment. You can rent it for 0.001$ on PeakMonsters as well

I believe this is appropriate, dice cards are relatively new and having a common card that can repair and damage armor can be a great asset.

Where NOT to use

On matches with low mana cap there could be better options than the flamesmith.

The Flamesmith shouldn't be used during the unprotected ruleset, as nobody would have an armor

Where to use

• Armored up
• Lost Magic

During armored up every monster has an armored defense of 2.

In Lost Magic the armor becomes a crucial element of the battle.

The flamesmith could in both cases shatter the armors while repairing yours.

In other words it would be able to cripple your rivals defensively while protecting your lineup.

This is specially helpful against the life splinter, which is the splinter that relies the most on armor

The Battle

This Battle took place in a ranked game. It involves the ruleset of "Equalizer" and "Lost Magic"

For this battle I brought a yodin zaku and my rival a level 3 Malric. On terms of levels my rival's summoner is on a higher level but it's yodin zaku we're talking about.

My Lineup

1. Cerberus: This menacing doggo can heal. During equalizer its ability is enhanced

2. Ant Miners: The Scavenge ability is one of the best for the Equalizer ruleset

3. Serpentine Spy: Usually with one hitpoint. One of the main beneficiaries during Equalizer. Its ability benefits a lot from Yodin Zaku

4. Spark Pixies: Same as the Spy regarding hitpoints. Able to deal three damage with high speed.

5. Ferexia General: The General is a sniper. Snipers are the main beneficiaries of yodin zaku, due to being able to hit three enemies at once.

6. Flamesmith: The Smith of the week. Had my rival brought the life splinter its shatter ability would've been perfect

Due to Yodin Zaku this battle was pretty easy for me.

I had two cards, namely the spy and the general who were able to hit three enemies at once.

My rival's decision to use the Pixies as the first non melee card on the backline was a good one, as my general started missing attacks.

However the combined blast damage eventually added up and reached my rival's pixies. Afterwards the rest of the battle went pretty fast.

Defensively my team delivered as well. The Ant Miner was able to hold the line due to its ability to scavenge.

This is why during Equalizer cards with healing, scavenge and life leech should be prioritized.

My flamesmith couldn't shatter any armor but its contribution was tremendous, as it was dealing 5 damage for each landed hit.

It also got the finishing blow.
