SPT Delegation Returns Reviewed
I delegated 3,000 SPT to the monster-curator account a couple of days ago. Here's a review of the returns thus far.

This works out to an average return of 2.83 SPT per day. Assuming that returns remain stable, the annual amount of SPT received would be 1032.95 SPT. A 34.4% return on the initial deposit. I'll do a follow up after a month or so to see if the returns hold up.
The Risk
34.4% is a very nice return but the big risk is the value of the SPT token itself. There doesn't seem to be any plans for it. Would be amazing if it could be incorporated in the Splinterlands game. Otherwise, its only utility is a blogging platform and there are tons of those around already.
Anyway, if you already have some locked up SPT, might as well delegate and get a good return for it.
Do you have any idea how delegating compares to curation rewards from staking and then upvoting posts with the tag? I'm doing the latter at the moment but maybe I would be better off delegating, especially as my long term goal is passive income.
Maybe manual curation is the way to go while I have the time but it would interesting to know the figures.

Interesting question. I tracked my returns once long ago and it was closer to 20%. This was for Steem on Steemit but i suppose the results would be similar.
Could probably do higher if you're able to get a vote in before a whale votes but I didn't have time for that.
I don't have time for it either. Nor the interest. My Hive curation rate is just 4% but maybe it's higher on Leo. I've no idea what it is for SPT.

It doesn't make much of a difference. I am running @monster-curator and I don't pay much attention on curation sniping or increasing rewards by upvoting content that has not yet been upvoted. Instead, I am simply upvoting good content when I see it and curate about 1-2 times a day. I hope the Splinterlands team will change the curation rewards to linear, just like LEO did, which would make it much fairer to everyone. But they spend no time on SPT and seem to care very little about it, for now.
Using @monster-curator will make your rewards 100% passive and we share 100% of the rewards generated from your stake with you. You cannot really loose to that, except when you plan on somehow frontrunning us.
