Your math is correct, what you also could do is to buy packs directly on S-E @0.862$ . These ones are not eligible for the airdrop thought, but still a little cheaper.

Ah I forgot about untamed tokens on SE. Well, the cheapest is selling at 3.89 Steem now. Using the method above (as of time of post) each pack is around 3.587 Steem, so it is cheaper and comes with airdrop :)
Oh, totally right. I didn't check the updated steem price :D
