Hello Monsters Maniacs, this week's challenge is to use the Silvershield Assasin in battle, this is one of the new reward cards that I like the most along with the Gelatinous Cube and the Screeching Vulture.

Silvershield Assasin is a fast and lethal card, attacks the rear in a double attack and tends to poison, it has a little shield that can protect it from some enemy thorn and it is the card with the sneak ability that has the most mana value, and also its graphics are pretty cool, really this card has no defects! and now I invite you to watch it in action.

The line up

  • In the first position I placed the goblin Mech, a card that you have to be careful to use because it tends to be very slow and very weak against magical attacks, on this occasion being a battle with only monsters with melee attack and a high cost of mana seemed a suitable tank to use.

  • In the second position I have placed the Manticore due to its ability, this way it will assist the Goblin Mech in the frontal damage.

  • In positions 3 and 4 I decided to place the team supports, the Armorsmith would repair the shield of the other characters and the Baby Unicorn would give them more speed and life points.

  • Then this week's special guest, the Silvershield Assasin, in a pretty safe position from which to do his job of annihilating the enemy's rearguard with impunity.

  • Finally, to give the rest of the team an extra point of attack while covering the rear, the Silvershield Knight would be assisted by the Armorthsmith and Baby Unicorn to stand up long enough for the team to do good damage.

The strategy work?

The speed I imprinted on the team caused the Silvershield Assasin to attack first, bringing down the enemy Sepentine Spy and leaving the Kobold Miner mortally wounded. If the Serpentine Spy had taken the initiative I probably would have shot down my Armorsmith and that would not have been good, fortunately, my team had enough speed to prevent that from happening.

The Silvershield Assasin took out 5 of the 6 enemy monsters, while the Goblin Mech - Manticore duo barely managed to bring down the Living Lava and weaken the Molten Ogre, without a doubt the participation of this character was essential in this battle and the strategy of placing him in a safe position while other characters protect or assist him worked very well this time.

Thank you very much for visiting my post and please do not hesitate to leave your comment. What did you think of this strategy? In which position do you usually place the Silvershield Assasin? Do you usually accompany it with a buffer? Which one?
