The immortal Cube - weekly battle challenge

Again one of my favorite cards, this jelly wall under the right conditions is immortal, some call it the Lord Arianthus of the poor and I think it fits the nickname, because it is very comparable in utility with the legendary tank and at the same time it is much cheaper, it's a highly recommended card to have in our collection.

But what makes the gelatinous cube so special?

First of all it has a relatively low mana cost for its stats, it has a gain in life which in itself makes it an optimal tank and it can be assisted by a healer from the rear. But then are its abilities that make it even harder to gnaw at (or more gelatinous?). Those abilities are as follows:

Scavenger
This skill makes our cube increase one point of life every time a chicken monster dies regardless of its side in the battlefield, thanks to this our cube can have a great amount of life and receive amazing healings many times bigger than all the damage that this card receives.
Heal
This ability is acquired at level 6 and many times will make us feel bad about our enemy, having a card with a life so high that it can heal itself is like cheating.
Void
Available at the maximum level, I haven't had the chance to use the cube with this skill yet but it would certainly make it more immortal than it already is.

Just look at the cube in action in the next battle and you'll understand what I'm talking about.

The line up

Pyre
I chose this summoner to take advantage of the speed bonus it provides, many don't like the red team and would prefer to use the white splinter in this battle (only those two splinters were available), but I am fascinated by the speed.
Exploding Dwarf
instead of a tank I wanted to take advantage of the speed of this monster to do good damage in the first round and then die with honor and feed the cube.
Gelatinous Cube
This week's star! Really, for this ruleset I prefer this immortal wall to any other card with fliying as the main monster.
Goblin Fireballer
His Snare ability will help me neutralize any flying monsters.
Highland Archer
The mission of this monster is simply to hurt the enemy team during the turns that he stays on his feet.
Creeping Ooze
This monster will only slow down the enemy team during the first turn and then die and feed the cube.
Imp Bowman
His fliying skill will make it possible for this monster to resist earthquake waves and with some luck it will end up doing damage behind a very strong cube

The strategy work?

The strategy is simple, use speed to do as much damage as possible during the first few turns to generate kills that will make the Gelatinous Cube a monster capable of healing much more than the damage it receives, while the enemy team continues to be weakened by earthquakes. I think this strategy worked very well.

What do you think about it? Leave me your comment. See you in the game.

DARTH! YUUUUS!
The Cube is awesome!
I totally laughed out loud reading the heal ability can make us feel bad for our enemy. 🤣 It's true!
And yes, I do find it can be the 'poor man's Lord A'... but it does well further back too.
