Splinterlands Potions Promotion
I have been playing the game for a while and have invested a decent amount in Splinterlands.
Due to that, I was able to amass a good amount of cards and compile 6 accounts that I lend out to other players to play.

- hardingicefield
- snaefellsjokull
- hardingicefield
- bladebreaker
- untamed-warrior
The deal is that I provide the cards and we split the rewards 50/50 and this has been working fine for a while now from both sides.
To come to the promotion:
These accounts just take and split rewards and DEC but also collect potions during the daily quests and season rewards.
So in total, these accounts have
- 782 Alchemy potions x 50 DEC: 39100
- 819 Legendary potions x 40 DEC: 32760
- Total DEC value is 71860
My proposal is that if someone bought a bunch of UNTAMED packs or DICE they can have these at 50% off
I know that these are not transferrable so there is going to be some trust involved but on the other hand, I am not going anywhere.
my proposal:
- coordination on Discord
- Create a post on Hive with the details to confirm and create accountability
- Send me the packs or dice
- I open and send back the cards
- you send me the DEC payment
This will be a win-win for both, I get some dec and lose some potions I am not using anyway. You get cheap potions. I know Splinterlands lose some income here and I do apologise for that to @aggroed but making the potions transferrable in the first place would make sense in a way.

That's a great idea, those potions are like a curse, unfortunately I'm not buying packs or dice myself as they're not worth it!
Good idea to get rid of them though!

Interesting, I was planning on buying packs before these ranking changes but after yesterday’s season end, it’s completely confirmed for me now that the “rankings” are completely filled with bots, screwing out the human players. I’ve given up on getting anything and I’m trying to make my money back at this point.
I like your idea, I’m not trying to dampen your thunder with this.
well, there were a lot of bots before so that has not changed, the only difference now is that they are sorted into different buckets being able to take less DEC each season and as such dampening inflation
The increase in DEC rewards has been nice but now the bots are being rewarded with dozens of packs for their botting efforts? That's a little ridiculous in my opinion.
The developers said in one of the AMAs that it would make sense to tokenize the potions. You should remind them about that after a couple of milestones have marked of the roadmap.
