Hello everyone, hope you are good.
I can participate in this week's battle challenge as I had recently bought the Beatrix Ironhand card.

Well, she is a princess and a warrior princess at that, wielding a boomerang to attack from a distance and even upfront if necessary. I was lucky enough to make effective use of her 'Close Range' ability today.

Battle Details

It was a 19 mana battle with rulesets of 'Lost Legendaries' and 'Stampede' and we were allowed to choose between the Earth and Dragon splinters.

I would have chosen Scarred Llama mage and Kron if not for the lost legendaries. I still went for the Earth Splinter and here's my

Battle Lineup

  • Mylor Crowling


He's my go to summoner in many a low mana battles. His 'Thorns' ability is so powerful that I have won some battles against high level opponents solely because of this ability.

  • Stonesplitter Orc

A common tank I use and when the retaliate ability is combined with thorns ability, it can be quite deadly as you will see in this battle.

  • Goblin Thief

Sneak ability with 2 attack - always nice to have.

  • Beatrix Ironhand

Here comes our princess, the star of our battle. I have put her at the back so that the other melee monsters can continue attacking while she does her damage from the back. She can of course attack from the first position too, if and when required, thanks to her 'Close Range' ability right from level 1. It proved to be quite decisive in this battle as seen in the video.

Always good to round off your lineup with a really Furious Chicken!

Opponent's Lineup

The opponent went for the Earth Splinter too with Lyanna Natura summoner, same tank as mine, same second position as mine, then a Creeping Ooze, Furious Chicken, Khmer Princess and finally the Earth Elemental.

Pretty good line up, but I was counting on my summoner's 'Thorns' ability and our princess' Ironhand, I mean, 'Close Range' ability.

I just love to use the Beatrix Ironhand card in my battles whenever possible. Sometimes, when the opponent has multiple fast monsters with snipe or opportunity monsters, Beatrix gets taken out early. Otherwise, she is a warrior princess through and through!

Mylor is my favorite summoner. And yeah, you're right. With Stonesplitter Orc it's just dirty in low mana battles. You get so much extra damage output. Nice job.
