Hello everyone!

Here's my another once in a blue battle in spinterlands a.k.a. @steemmonsters, this time this battle is between two death splinters. Who do you think will win in this epic battle?

Why I won?

Sometimes it's not about the strenght, sometimes it's all about right choices. As you can see it is ovious that the cards of my enemy is much stronger, but I am lucky to choose the right cards to fight my enemy, and also I arrange my cards in the right positions to do the offense and defense, Imagine if I make just 1 simple mistake in this match I will surely loose lol.

Always put your cards in the right positions

In positioning my cards, I always choose the cards with much bigger life and defense or monster that has a ability to reduce damage like "shield" or "void" in the front position as my tank, and for the back position I tend to use monsters with self healing ability or monsters with the ability called "thorns" to counter my enemy's monster with "snipe" ability, because if the monster with thorn ability attacked by any melee type monsters the attacker will also take 2 points of backdamage and since most of the monsters with snipe ability is melee the best way to counter them is to use monster with thorns.

the shield ability can reduce the damage of melee and range attacks and while the void ability can reduce the damage of magic attacks and the monters with snipe ability is attacking the enemy monters in the back position first.

And also I always choose the right cards depending on the match ruleset, for example the ruleset is earthquake, it is better to choose monsters with flying ability because only the monsters with flying ability is not affected by the damage created by earthquakes.

And since ruleset of this match is "little league", the players can only use monsters with 4 mana or below, it is hard to find good tank with 4 mana but this "animated corpse" is good enough because of its 7 life points, 2 points melee attack damage plus a "void" ability, he's pretty tough monster with 4 mana cost so I think he can become a good tank for the little league rulset.

And for the back position I put my enchanted defender because of its "thorns" ability so if my anemy choose melee type monsters with snipe ability I can easily counter them with thorns. The enchanted defender weakness is magic type monsters because he is only 1 hit by any magic attacks, so putting him in the front position is realy not a good idea lol.

Why I use Death Splinter?

I choose death splinter because it is my quest for today lol, but aside from that I also use death splinter when there's a big chance that my enemy will be using melee tyoe monsters especially if the ruleset is "upclose and personal" because in this ruleset players can only use melee type monsters, and I think death splinter is realy a good match against melee monsters because of its death summoner "Zintar Mortalis" the damage of any melee attack monsters will be reduced by 1 attack point, this 1 point damage reduction is good enough when you're fighting melee type monsters.

I'm glad that my strategy work on that match, damage reduction is very useful tho, but I don't think that my strategy will work all the time, so I keep on experimenting on which card can be useful in different rulesets and situations Lol.
