Mindblast Battle Report : Staying Alive
Undead Corpse is really strong whenever you level it up to level 4. In which it will help unlocked it full potential wherein the monster will able to use its Void ability that would serve as an anti-magic. Sometimes, we should consider looking into the battle rules as there might be potential use of Undead Corpse if you have most enemy monsters using magic type monsters.
The winning percentage would be a little higher when there would be a match like that. And aside from that those monsters that are having 1 magic attack could be a little useless as it will become 0 whenever it will get hit to Undead Corpse.
Sometimes Undead Corpse is a game-changer in battles where only magic users and melee users are possibly to use. But if you have enough funds, you can try investing Undead Corpse into level 5 or you can directly purchase several of this cards in the market.
Details
In this battle, only 4 mana cost monsters possible to use and each of the monsters will have additional armors. It will be a test of strategy as we are dealing with low-level mana cost monsters. The mana cap of this game is 42 in which there might be a possibility that you will not able to maximize your mana as there would only be a total monster of six with all mana cost 4 and below.
If we can check on the battle line up, we can see that my enemy uses Crystal Jaguar in the frontline. We can check on Crystal Jaguar it focuses on its armor and life points making him more solid if we put him up in the frontline.
On his second line up, he uses Crystal Werewolf which has a decent attack speed and life points where we know that this monster is strong as solid towards other melee type monsters. It has armor too making me difficult to penetrate.
On his second, he uses Light Elemental which can really damage most of my monsters as most of them are low in life points except for my Animated Corpse and Twisted Jester. It's Divine Healer also adds more difficulty for more in the battle as it has healing ability which keeps their allies secured, making sure that it watches their life points while damaging me the magic type of attack.
It's Parasitic Growth also uses its Opportunity to select one of my monsters that are having low health points. And lastly, in the last row, Elven Mystic who is also a magic attack type monster.
My Line Up
I put my Animated Corpse in the frontline as there might be chances that my enemy will be using magic type monster which I accidentally made the right decision as it uses 3 of them. Its Divine Healer will become useless and Elven Mystic if they target my Animated Corpse as it will just result to zero damage.
Aside from that Animated Corpse has also good life points making it more solid to be selected as my frontline in this battle.
We used Undead Priest as it could help decrease the life of enemy monsters. Still, this monster doesn't have a magic attack yet as it is only level 2.
On the third position is my Haunted Spider as its range attack could help weaken the enemy. And its skill could weaken the healer's ability if got damages as it will deduct its life every turn.
Next is my newly acquired Dark Astronomer who got a good range of damage. It may be low speed but as long as it positioned on the 4th, I think he will be OK.
Centaur can really effective in targeting as it could help eliminate ranged or magic attack types that are not in the first position.
And lastly, Twisted Jester has the biggest range of attack damage based on my lineup. A bit lower in terms of speed if we compare it to Centaur, still its attack can turn the tide in every battle.
The Battle
At the start of Round 1, my Summoner tries to debuff all melee attack but it seems that the attack of mine is quite useless as they are already at 1 melee attack damage. My Animated Corpse was being attacked a lot and thankfully its armor and skill helped him survive the first round.
My Undead Corpse manages to eliminate his Crystal Jaguar while both my Twister Jester and Centaur are eagerly targeting Light Elemental which I consider as easy to kill as it has low health points.
At Round 3, there is no more escape for his Light Elemental as my Twisted Jester makes sure that it could give. And thankfully, it got hit which eliminates him on the battlefield.
It was an intense battle that I could really appreciate how my Animated Corpse been doing very well, despite ending with 2 life points.
My Analysis
Based on what I have seen, putting my Animated Corpse in frontline makes his monsters with magic attack type will become uses. It did even lasted the battle without any casualty.
