Who Trampled My Parade?

So I want to look at some of the cards that either are out of print or are soon to be out of print. Today I want to look at the Sacred Unicorn.

For those of you unfamiliar with this Reward beauty here are her stats.

Mine is a Level 3 which is the most my Summoner can currently muster which makes her 5 melee, 4 speed, 9 life and has Heal, Piercing, and Trample. At her highest Level she gets 1 more life and the Divine Shield which are solid enough to warrant getting there but not necessary. It is the Trample I want to focus on today.

Here she is in battle:

As you see not a bad grouping from my side but in no way a guranteed victory. I think my opponent was confident that the Lord Arianthus with the Angel of Light would be sufficient to stop anything I brought to the battle.

It actually worked against him because the Unicorn kill of Lord Arianthus triggered Trample which allowed me to kill the Slug. Then the Lord resurrected and was Trampled again, allowing an extra shot on the Angel.

By the time this battle ended I had only the Unicorn remaining but she was killing my weakened opponent's Monsters two at a time.

I replayed the battle and counted a total of 4 Tramples!!! FOUR!!! With that kind of muscle this mythical beauty is worth having in your Life Splinter arsenal.
