9 BID MARKET INSIGHTS - The day after Splinterlands season ending

Today over 800 cards were purchased via BIDS placed on https://peakmonsters.com/market
That tends to happen after a season end where lots of reward cards are being distributed.
It was specially impressive as the price of steem dropped 10-20%

However the whole buy market had it's best day for a while at least for Peakmonsters and it was distributed among lots and lots of buyers. Even the bid market was over 25 different users getting in on the BID action.

THE CASE OF THE "BIG FULFILLMENT"

This bidder had 50 of their 99 card bid fulfilled in a few moments getting 50+ cards at .124usd while the best listing rate is .149 that's a 16.7% savings and they're about half way to a maxed promo rare card.

THE CASE OF THE "ALPHA LEGEND"

Alpha legendaries are becoming more and more scarce and theyre hard to find good prices. Sometimes the bid doesn't raise as high as the list price.
But this bidder had a seller meet them at their price of $3.16
It's been well over a month since prices for this card have been that low... this isn't a mistake bid the bid was $3.16 and the seller knew exactly the bid ammount and decided to sell for that amount specifically.

THE CASE OF THE "FULL SELL OUT"

This seller saw there were several bids stacked for this very valuable alpha card and sold 10 of them 6 at $4.50 and 4 at $4

Sadly the seller didn't keep going because the next 2 were my bids. haha

It's a propular card and pretty high priced when you consider many of the other Alpha Common Golds

But even still the buyers still likely got a wonderful deal.

THE CASE OF THE "DEPLETED BIDS"

Not sure how many of these bids were completed today but as of a few moments ago all the Promo Gold Epic bids had been fulfilled. Including this one by me

Now i finally have a 3rd card to level up on my Gold Foil account and I saved $5 just because I wasn't in a rush and was willing to wait for someone to meet my price.

Frankly it sucks that these users are completely clueless that there exists a better way to list their cards than ONE at a Frickin Time!! Shoot me now... Kudos to them for not rage quitting while listing these cards one at a time.

THE CASE OF THE DEC STOCK PILE

As we have mentioned in a few places @peakmonsters is actively working to amass some stores of DEC tokens. We set some bids that are fulfilled from time to time just above the DEC value of a card. It's not automated so when DEC prices fluctuated sometimes it's well above the DEC value.

But who knows we'll maybe jump into the Guild fun. But at least have lots of DEC for future tournaments.

THE SUB-CASE OF THE "GOLD LEGEND TRADES"

Peakmonsters also got a black dragon so that alone is 75k DEC
But for the time being until the DEC is needed there's a consideration that trading with that account is possible sadly there is no automated system. But when all you really wanted was the DEC and the assurance that cards for sure get burned then this is great.

I'm not entirely sure I personally want to trade around 75k DEC of cards to trade for that black dragon. So maybe someone else is interested? Specially if it's gold alpha cards then I'll be motivated to do it because then i'll likely in turn trade with peakmonsters to get some of those gold alphas. haha

Really wish there was a trading platform that looked exclusively at DEC values and didn't care at all what cards were in there but charged 5% DEC or something like that.

Some cards are so crazy popular the prices are really high.
These common cards go for 38 cents on the market and seems like a great way to slowly get enough to max out would be on the bid market.
