More Untamed thoughts: the cards aren't great on their own

(Edited)

So far, I would say that almost anyone with both Untamed and Beta cards would have no trouble winning against someone who only has Untamed cards. At this point, anyway. Granted, I don't have any of the cards at max level yet, but I'm still in the Silver league. In fact, I'm barely even hacking it in the silver league.

It's still three or four more days until the rest of my cards are useable. I understand the cool down thing, but it also sucks sometimes.

Yesterday, I finished a Fire Splinter quest, and that was pretty easy. I even wrote a post about it. Then I got a Water Splinter quest, and that's been a lot more difficult with only the Bortus summoner. Not a huge fan of that one at all so far.

It just seems like the Untamed cards would make good additions to some lineups using summoners some key players from the pre-Untamed collections.

Is that your take on it too, or what do you think?

*EDIT: I spoke too soon, I think. I'm just not used to all of the vast new options.*

Oh no! Shark Monsters!

Yeah, mine are useless for the most part in Silver I...need them to be like three or four levels higher at least. I have used a couple in addition to Beta cards, but not too much luck there either.

I think I just need to spend more time experimenting with them. I'm finding some more success with a little more experience. With the old cards, I didn't even really have to think about which cards to use or even which order to put them in. Now there are so many choices. Even without the cards I have on cooldown, there are still a lot of choices. There are so many cards in the Untamed series!
