Lands Pre-sale Stage 1

After a successful but controversial Stage 1, it is abundantly clear there were plenty of people willing to buy land. Only 27 of 50 entrants into the lottery were able to win a region, leaving 23 with a guaranteed region in the second stage with a lower discount, albeit with a consolation prize of a Legendary Totem. For the Sale itself, over 8 HIVE blocks and a time period of 24 seconds, the remaining 3 regions of tokens were sold as individual tokens and plots.

As a result Splinterlands has collected $228,600 through 115,960,000 DEC and 112,640,000 CREDITS. This post lists those who were able to secure land in this first sale.

Hello. The next Stage of the Pre-Sale will be selling plots for $12. Currently someone is trying to sell Plots for 120 HIVE on the Hive-Engine (approx. $13.94/secondary market).

I can't believe how fast it all sold out. For sure was lucky to even grab a single plot. Time ran out before I managed to process my 2nd payment so going to maybe save those credits for Round 2 rather than contact for a refund. Shame it went so fast though and others didn't get a chance. Hoping they are able to next round.

Yeah I tried later on since I was working during it and was completely gone lol. I heard it sold out in 4 minutes that’s crazy.

27 seconds. You had to be right on the spot and even then a lot missed out. 2nd round will be as fast.

Sounds to me like they might allow smaller entries into the lottery to remove the time rush altogether.

That seems like the right approach IMO

From past experience i think they will change it up for the next land sale. The team have a good record for innovation and we should see a lottery or something similar to give everybody equal chance.

Yeah I'm hoping to get a chance. I cashed out 10$ in credits to buy stuff but now I have to spend a bit more to get in the next batch.

I was expecting more plots for sale, unfortunately at the time of purchase the system crashed and it was impossible to buy.

If that's the case for the other Presales too, I see it hard to buy even just 1 plot

If we take the 23 premium positions (those who missed out on the Region sale) as an indicator of the next Stage's Region lottery, it is possible there will be 7,000 plots available in the round itself, rather than the three in this round. Considering a few of these possibly won't be going ahead in the second round, it depends how many more people hear about lands in the meantime.
