How Sit N Go tournaments on Splinterlands would be a GAME CHANGER!

STARTS WHEN FULL TOURNAMENTS

Imagine being able to login anytime on Splinterlands, and you see there is 15/16 players about to start a 1k DEC buy-in tourney..

You pay your 1k DEC click join, and you are able to hop in a quick tournament ANY time of the day ANY day of the week, and potentially win 10x your money within 4 battles!

Obviously there would be multiple Sit N Gos, but in theory lets just give an example.

Novice & Bronze (10 DEC entry fee)
1st place - 100 DEC
2nd place - 50 DEC
3rd place - 10 DEC

Silver & Gold (100 DEC entry fee)
1st place - 1000 DEC
2nd place - 500 DEC
3rd place - 100 DEC

Diamond & Champion (1000 DEC entry fee)
1st place - 10,000 DEC
2nd place - 5000 DEC
3rd place - 1000 DEC

You could also add like a 1, 5, and 50 DEC fee for the host of the tournaments as well or the tournament host could choose a different amount.

NEXT LEVEL FOR eSPORTS

Right now if a big time eSports athlete wanted to REALLY make money on Splinterlands they don't have a lot of options.

Either play battles until your ECR (Energy Capture Rate) is used up, enter an Anytime tournament, or do the 5 battles for their daily quest (which we all know is not very profitable)..

I find it very discouraging to play the Anytime tournaments, because you have to put in A LOT of work doing many battles, hope you don't basically lose one battle, and then wait 48 hours, and hope you make the top to get paid something.

I have been #1 in a tournament the first day, and then the 2nd round get some unlucky rules, and earn NOTHING from all of that time wasted!

With Sit N Gos anyone can sit down at ANY time and play a quick 4 battle tournament, and make money in less than an hour!!

Imagine the possibilities with this! I mean we have world class players right now playing Splinterlands, but if you just try to earn DEC by playing battles, you can only earn about $2.00 - $5.00 per day until your ECR is used up for the day.. That is not appealing at all!

Now imagine those same world class players all willing to put in $10, $100, or even $1000!! They could easily turn $10 into $100.. $100 into $1000.. or $1000 into $10,000 in just ONE Sit N Go!

We have players with pockets this deep, and we have players that are amazingly talented, but they don't have a place to come together put their money on the table, and let their talent earn them some SERIOUS money!

Why do we not have this option!?

In a recent AMA the team said they would add the option for "Starts when full", and Matt even said the coding should be fairly easy to just add in and implement.

WHAT ABOUT BOTS?

Okay so the one downside people bring up is bots! Now yes bots will be able to join, but just like with normal tournaments these are usually beaten easily.. So my answer is EASY MONEY!

However, some players like 4-Freedom mentioned that we could limit how many Sit N Gos an account can play per day to ward off bots. He said 5 per day, but I feel like 10 per day might be a better limit if that is even needed, because like I said "EASY MONEY" once you figure out how to beat the bots.

Also anyone creating a Sit N Go could require a password, but I think this would only cause more steps and hassle.. Still it is an option for anyone who might not want any bots.

THE TECHNICALITIES OF SIT N GOs

I do think that these Sit N Gos should have their own tournament page/room, because they could have a chat room in them to keep the players waiting interactive, and also have the "STARTING SOON" animation to buidl some anticipation!

Also these type of tournaments need to have the ability to automatically restart after finishing so they can continually run 24/7.

There has to be the ability for these to automatically take the buy-ins and disperse them to the top 3 winners, and keep going, without having to keep adding the prizes after each one finishes.

THE POSSIBILITES ARE ENDLESS

Even if someone is limited to only 10 per day of one persons Sit N Gos.. There could always be many others running every day. So technically anyone with a decent amount of cards and talent could REALLY make a full-time career just by playing Splinterlands!

Imagine taking $10.00 and winning $100.. That would be 10 MORE Sit N Gos that person could play now, and if the stakes were higher it would just be that much more!

Someone could start with $10 and win a few tournaments making more per day than they could in a week at a normal job!

Big ballers could come in with $1000, and if they are talented turn that into $10k - $100k in a day! THINK ABOUT THAT!

This is about putting your money where your mouth is, and people have the money, they have the cards, and a lot of us have plenty of time.. Just no options or places to compete!

CONCLUSION

I have had many players tell me that they do not play tournaments anymore, but they DEFINITELY would play Sit N Gos.. This should say something to the team!

I only play my daily quests, and I will attempt some of the tournaments, but I don't like wasting time doing MANY battles just to wait 48 hours and hope one or two battles don't completely render my other wins worthless.

However, if Splinterlands had thriving Sit N Gos in every league.. I KNOW that I would probably be on Splinterlands NON-STOP, because there would just be too much potential.. Even just doing more battles to get more DEC for another Sit N Go buy-in!

It is time to take Splinterlands to the next level, and show the world that Splinterlands is the future of blockchain and eSports!
