This is my submission in SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge.
This week's theme is SILVERSHIELD ASSASSIN
LORE
The Assassins do not openly wear the insignia of the Order of the Silver Shield, for they take on the dirty work, the kind of work that is best forgotten after it is done. Armed with small jagged daggers and throwing knives, Silver Shield Assassins kill with the silence of a nightfall over the Khymeve Meadows. They never take prisoners.
SILVERSHIELD ASSASSIN is indeed a sneak attack master as it equipped with Double Strike capability from the very start. At level 5 it becomes truly lethal with Poison ability. Being a sneak attack monster with double attack ability it is more vulnerable to thornes ability than other sneak attack monster(but it does have some shield and health to take some thorns damage).
My Entry
This was a 23 mana battle with two rules: Silenced Summoners and Lost Legendaries. These two battle rules ensured less lethal magic attack so I decided to use TYRUS PALADIUM summoner.
Team Selection and Placement
I used TYRUS PALADIUM summoner because the two prevailing battle rules ensured less lethal magic attack(Life splinter is more vulnerable to magic attack).
I placed SILVERSHIELD PALADIN upfront because of the Shield ability. Best choice if you are expecting melee and ranged offence by enemy.
Then, DIVINE HEALER was place to provide healing to SILVERSHIELD PALADIN.
On third position, I placed ARMORSMITH to repair the damaged shield of SILVERSHIELD PALADIN.
SILVERSHIELD ASSASSIN was placed on forth position to do what it is designed to do....Sneak Attack
On second last came the CRYSTAL WEREWOLF which serves two purposes: one, it weakens the enemy's magic attack due to Silence ability and second, damages the enemy's sneak attack monsters due to Thorns ability.
On the very last, I used FURIOUS CHICKEN, since I had card slots left unoccupied. FURIOUS CHICKEN is a perfect candidate for first or last card, as it costs nothing and indeed provides small cushion to your team.
Remarks
Everything worked out perfectly. SILVERSHIELD PALADIN kept soaking the damage with Divine Healer and Armorsmith kept healing and repairing the shield. This gave SILVERSHIELD ASSASSIN time to keep infictincting the sneak the sneak damage along with poisoning.
