Greetings, Steemians...

🌟It is Weekly Challenge Time🌟

And The Azmares are on the move!!!

This is my first participation in SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge. This week's theme is water splinter.

I loved playing with water splinter from my early Splinterlands days but as I progressed and got to higher leagues it got difficult to handle due to magic reflect and void abilities coming into play. But with the introduction of Headwind ability to water splinter things have got interesting(balanced) again. Anyways, enough with the chit chat and lets get back to the business. For this weekly challenge, I decided to take the risk of using Water Splinter despite the opponent's inclination to used the magic reflect ability.

To tackle ranged/magic attacks I thought of using monsters with Void, Headwinds and Shield abilities. But placement is also a crucial factor.

I used the SEA MONSTER upfront due to high attack and healing.
In the 2nd position, I used the LORD ARIANTHUS because of the prevailing battle rule(All Ranged and Magic attack Monsters have the Snipe ability) and it did wonderful job their. It did absorbed all the magic/ranged attacks and also reflected the magic back.
On the third position RULER OF THE SEA was placed to add magic attack with Blast ability (Blast ability is much more effective when used against enemy monster in the middle).
Then, I placed PIRATE ARCHER on fourth position. 1 archer attack with Blast, with a mana cost of just 2, great!.
On the fifth rank I used NAGA WINDMASTER for the obvious reasons i.e. to lower the enemy's ranged attacks.
And in the last I placed the Zero mana card FURIOUS CHICKEN to temporarily soak any Sneak attacks.

I think LORD ARIANTHUS was my trump card in this battle (How many time we saw him getting the job done!!!).

I personally feel that, I need to upgrade my Water Summoner in order to utilize my water monsters upto their full capacity. But now the Water Summoner's price has appreciated quite a lot, with steem depreciating.
