Splinterlands: Giant Squid's Corrosive Ink can Blind You

Hello Splinterlands Fans

Time for the SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge.

Blind ability can increase the frequency of missed attacks by enemy melee and ranged monsters. One missed attack at a key moment in battle can really alter the outcome.

MY BATTLE USING GIANT SQUID

This was a 21 mana battle with two battle rules, one Rise of the Commons and second Reverse Speed.

MY LINEUP

ALRIC STORMBRINGER

I used ALRIC STORMBRINGER summoner for the purpose of this challenge as GIANT SQUID is a water monster.

SEA MONSTER

Upfront came my tank, SEA MONSTER. It possess great attack, health with two awesome abilities Heal and Thorns. I sometimes wonder if it is a common monster.

CRUSTACEAN KING

Next came the healer, CRUSTACEAN KING. It is always good to have healer in the back to support your tank, if you can afford it. Apart from the heal ability , it also has Protect ability, providing all team members with 2 Armor.

PIRATE ARCHER

Next came the PIRATE ARCHER. A nice low mana monster with blast ability.

GIANT SQUID

In the end came the star of our show GIANT SQUID. I upgraded my GIANT SQUID so that I can watch its blind ability in play.

BATTLE ANALYSIS

This was a simple battle. The enemy never stood a chance. My SEA Monster quickly took out the enemy tank. One mistake the enemy made was ignoring Reverse Speed battle rue and using CREEPING OOZE. This amplified the effect of Blind ability and caused enemy to miss many attacks on my tank.
