# Splinter Stats Season 53 Report Card

I'm a little slow getting this past seasons report card out. But now that things have calmed down a bit from the crazy weekend I just had, I figured this was a good time to generate the report and review my performance.

Once again I made it up to Tier 1 of Diamond League just like last season. I did get my rating 80 points higher than last season, so I guess I'm making some progress toward Champion League. I also engaged in 11 more ranked matches than last season, so that's two small points of improvement. Unfortunately my win/loss ratio wasn't as high as last season and my tournament participation was way down also.

My summoner win rate was tightly grouped with all summoners having a win rate of between 51 and 63 percent. All except Malric Inferno that is. His win rate was only 38.46%. Very disappointing Malric. I'm considering looking at some getting a few cards in the rental market to see if I can improve my performance in the Fire Splinter. Maybe a max level Yodin Zaku if there are any left for a good price. If not, I may try out a Plado Emberstorm. I remember cursing him a lot as being too powerful until Yodin came along and showed what an over powered card really looked like.

I'm surprised to see that the Silvershield Paladin was my highest rated monster of those that I used frequently. 34 matches and a win rate of 70.59%. Sometimes old school works the best.

Best rulesets were Lost Legendaries followed by Super Sneak, while my worst rulesets were Armored Up and Up Close & Personal. Fun fact! Armored Up was my best ruleset last season and Lost Legendaries was one of my worst. I don't know that there is a lot to learn from this section. Maybe if one ruleset consistently was worst season after season it would mean something.

Reward cards were a disappointment also. Only 1 golf foil common card and fewer total cards. Silver lining, I did get a lot more Epic cards this season, so the total DEC value of my reward cards actually increased.

Loot chests were also a disappointment as the DEC from chests dropped from 13,067 last season to 7599 this season. But my DEC from ranked play increased from 5889 to 7198 even though I only had 1 more win this season. I would attribute that to a hot win streak early in the season when the reward pool had just been recharged and to rewards were more than double their normal amount.

Here's a new feature for the report card, the Rental Report. It shows I had 578 DEC income from rentals after fees. Very cool feature, thanks for including this @kiokizz!

To sum up, this season was a mixed bag, some good things, some meh. Splinterlands is changing for the better and one of the reasons is the new rental system. By the end of this current season we should start seeing the first of the year long Splintershards airdrop which is going to make things really crazy around here. Grab all you can, I think it's going to be huge!
