# Another slow season - Splinter Stats Season 52 Report Card
A slow season as usual where I focused more on doing quests. Since I have a little bit of free time this morning, I decided to get this one out a little earlier after the season end. The link to the tools can be found at the bottom of the post so that you can use to generate your own Splinterlands report with ease.
|Rating||2408 - Gold II|

|Ranked Ratio (Win/Loss+Draw)||2.13 (66/30/1)|
|Highest Rated Win vs||@pizzachain (2963)|
Just looking at the amount of fights I did, I am fairly sure I focused on doing the daily quests. With a win streak of 13 wins, I was lucky for a few days as I finished the quest with ease. My win ratio is over 2 so I don't think I did particularly bad last season. I think my win ratio might be getting slightly better on average over time.
Top 10 Summoner Usage
|Summoner||Frequency||Teams Fielded||Win Rate|
|Wizard of Eastwood||30||31.25%||60.00%|
From what I see on my summoner usage, I used fire the most. Both 2nd place Yodin Zaku and Pyre are both fire splinters so if I added both up then it is greater than Wizard of Eastwood.
My Yodin Zaku win rate surprises me quite a bit. With a win rate of 92.31%, I feel that I probably relied on it to get my quests done. I am actually surprised that I did not field any death splinter teams and it is my weakest deck. So if I have the choice, I would not use death splinters.
Top 100 Monster Usage
|Monster||Frequency||Teams Fielded||Win Rate|
|Kron the Undying||15||15.63%||66.67%|
|Serpent of Eld||6||6.25%||50.00%|
|Child of the Forest||6||6.25%||66.67%|
|Torhilo the Frozen||1||1.04%||100.00%|
|Serpent of the Flame||1||1.04%||0.00%|
|Spirit Druid Grog||1||1.04%||0.00%|
Chicken at the top like usual and it seems like I put it over half of my matches too. I like the chicken since he can be used to tank an extra hit in most fights and sometimes that is the difference between a win or a loss.
I can see that Ferexia General is number 4 on my list and I like to combine him with Yodin Zaku because he gets an extra +1 ranged attack and the snipe ability gives it a decent chance at hurting 3 monsters using the blast ability. The card that surprised me the most is the goblin fireballer with a 100% win rate last season after being fielded 15 times. Like with most other ranged cards, I like to take advantage of Yodin Zaku's abilities and his low mana cost.
Win Rate by Ruleset
|Back to Basics||4||100.00%|
|Up Close & Personal||4||100.00%|
|Fog of War||3||33.33%|
|Keep Your Distance||3||66.67%|
|Odd Ones Out||2||0.00%|
|Rise of the Commons||1||100.00%|
I see Noxious Fumes up near the top like usual but number 1 is reverse speed. If I did see this rule set, then I think Yodin Zaku would definitely be a good fit. He doesn't give me a disadvantage like Pyre (+1 speed) would and I would gain the blast, +1 HP and +1 ranged attack abilities.
The explosive weaponry would probably be the reason why Pyre is number 3 on my summoner list. If blast is already included, I probably opted to get 4 more mana for monster cards over Yodin Zaku. Additionally the extra speed will help me take down the enemies faster. So this really helped me understand why I fielded Pyre so many times.

I got less cards than last season but I did get a legendary card and a gold foil common. So overall I don't think this season was that bad. It does seem like I got more DEC from chests and a few more potions to make up for the lower amount of playable card drops.
I was just comparing my captured DEC rewards to last report and I didn't earn much. Last season was 104 ranked wins and 2k DEC from earnings but this season was only 996 DEC from 66 wins. Maybe the rewards pool wasn't as attractive so I only focused on the quests.
With that my total for the season is 5227 DEC for the season. I am quite satisfied since I got a legendary card but I am also wondering when I will get a gold foil legendary. There are also no words of new pack drops so I will just have to make do with what I can get.
The grind continues as daily quests tends to be my primary motivation for playing the game daily. We already started on a new season and I spent an extra few minutes fighting a few more fights after my quest because the DEC drop rate wasn't as bad. If only I had more time then I would make sure my dark energy capture rate is below 100% whenever possible.
