Now that the long 4th of July weekend celebration is over it's time to get my end of season report card created so that I have a documented trail of my progress in Splinterlands archived to the Hive blockchain.

I managed to make it into Gold Tier 2 a few days before the end of the season. But because I was running low on time to play, I turned my account over to a bot to play for me. The bot had a bad time of it. So I ended up with a pathetic Ranked Ration of only 0.76.

Since over a quarter of my battles this season were using Fire Splinter, it's no surprise that Living Lava and Serpentine Spy were the most frequently used monsters besides the no/low Mana duo of Furious Chicken and Creeping Ooze. In the lower leagues, Living Lava/Serpentine Spy is the most popular combination I've battled against.

I got my butt kicked whenever the Ruleset was Stampede, Spreading Fury and Explosive Weaponry. I'm going to blame that on the bot forfeiting the matches on those Rulesets since I usually do pretty well under those Rulesets usually.

I gave the Bronze Blunderbuss tournament a try and won 100 DEC for placing 101st out of 298 players. It's not that much but it wasn't too hard or time consuming.

I did pretty well on Reward Cards. 1 Legendary and 3 Epic cards was a good haul. Would have been better if one or two of them had turned out to be Gold Foils but no luck this season. Total Ranked play earning of over 4200 DEC is a pretty good amount.
The biggest thing I learned this season is when to use the bot. It does much better when I'm in Silver or Bronze Leagues. Trying to use it in Gold League doesn't generate much in rewards and just messes up my standing and stats.
