Dec. 28, 19: AutomaticWin, Zombierun, New Fitbit, and Games
Slept until a decent hour today. Up before the sunrise, though, so I got my routine done reasonably early and went out for a #AutomaticWin! 😀🤩
Was pretty cool on the mission today I actually had a choice of what to do, kind of like a choose-your-own-adventure style. I chose to run through the center of the pack. We had the new zombie repelling cologne and I was pretty confident it would work alright.
It worked just fine, only about five minutes shorter than we thought! Being in the middle of a huge horde of zombies when they all take notice of you is not cool.
I got two zombies one right after another twice today. Once I got to twenty meter warning but escaped, the other I got caught and had to sacrifice an item. 😢. Still, six out of seven zombies evaded and mission complete.
Was another overcast and gray day. The wind was quite chilly to begin, but once the sun ☀️ came out, it wasn’t too bad at all.
I did a swing down by the pond. Pretty amazing how many times it has frozen and then thawed back out again this year. It was thawed enough today that rather large things were splooshing around in there. I tried to stand super still to see what it was, but I only saw trails of bubbles where they went underwater.
My new Fitbit came today!!! 😃. It took a little while to do its updating business, but it paired right to the phone and I didn’t lose any of my steps or settings or anything! 🥳
The rest of the afternoon I pretty much blew on video games. 😃. I love winter break!
Today my Steemmonsters quest was Earth splinter. It’s one of my strongest decks, so I was able to win enough to get a quest potion charge, but I wasn’t able to finish in Diamond...seems they want me to be stuck back in Gold I. Only a couple days left in the season. Now I have to decide whether it’s worth it to do daily quests or just try to hold my ranking until the reset.
I did finally break down and buy some more Untamed packs. I opened the bonus packs today. Got a gold foil card and a new legendary.
Tomorrow is Sunday and we usually go for a walk out in the woods. Will be weird since the wife is away, but gonna’ try and stick to it.
