Feb. 24, 20: Zombierun, Games, and SF22

Man, who so I have to pay off to get a proper sleep in?! Up insanely early once again today.

Did my usual chores and stuff in the morning and spent some time chatting on Discord. I really should have gotten my exams graded over the weekend, but I’ve only done one page out of ten so far! 🤭

After posting and playing some games, I went out for my daily exercise. Only intended to do five kilometers, but ended up over six anyways. 😀

Was quite warm out, and the wind wasn’t too bad, so despite the clouds it was really nice. 👍

Mr. Chubbles was out and about today! 😃 He wasn’t in a very sociable mood, though.

My zombie mission today was to go to Moonchild’s childhood home. We are just outside of London and she basically controls everyone in the city, so we were looking for anything we might be able to use as leverage against her. I found an old cassette recording of her with her father. He had a deep depression and she tried to “fix” him but ended up frying his brain...useful info, hopefully! 😄

Four out of four zombies evaded and mission complete with one fifty meter warning, but it didn’t really count because I had to stop and wait for traffic to pass before crossing the street.

As would be expected, much of the discussion nowadays revolves around Tron. While I was a bit apprehensive about the fork, thinking that it was too far reaching, having researched more and discussed a lot, I am 100% for the fork. I believe that what is truly at issue is the ninja mined stake; as such, the witnesses couldn’t justify forking out someone else’s stake that was legitimately acquired (and no it’s not legit just because Justin paid for it).

With the hijacking of BitTorrent’s governance, a precedent has been set, so proactive measures were necessary. I was pleased to see the response, which was not at all aggressive and seemed willing to talk turkey. Nevertheless, this is what the Tron Foundation posted on Medium today (they still seem to think they bought the users...all 20 million of them - wrong on so many levels 🤣):

Holybread is being completely unforgiving at this point, and I can’t barely eek out a single win.

I did get my daily tasks done for today, but repeatedly losing isn’t all that fun.

Speaking of repeatedly losing, Steemmonsters sucked balls today, and not in a good way! I had a hard losing streak, quit, came back and the losing streak continued, rage quit, came back and just kept at it until I was done (swearing most of the time).

I did get my quest potion for the day and ended the quest back in Diamond after losing all the way down to Gold I. The DEC rewards were a complete insult, but I did get a couple cards:

In the evening I made some pasta and sauce for dinner and we watched a bit of the new season of Green Arrow.

Got my stats for the last week. Certainly more green flags than the past couple! Yay! 😁
