Jan. 8, 20: Zombierun and Games
Well, here we are coming up on the end of winter break (we start back on Monday) and looking back at all the best laid plans I had for this time off, my game should be programmed and Solairibot should be functional...feeling a bit like a failure, sorta’ down on myself for not accomplishing more. Oh, well, it’s not like my time on Earth is finite or anything.
I did spend some time writing down a brainstorm trying to sort out all my thoughts about the upstairs. There’s so much to do and so many things that depend on other decisions that need to be made that I get overwhelmed and stuck and go round in circles. Hoping that putting it on paper and then trying to prioritize might help.
In the afternoon I took the doggy out for a nice, relaxing walk. Not too fast and no particular goal, just go for a walk. 😀
Was beautiful out! The wind was a bit nippy, but otherwise hard to believe that it was a winter day.
Doggy definitely wanted to do his sniffy thang. I let him, though, since it had been a couple days since I took him out.
Amazingly enough, the pond is frozen again! It’s nutso, the lake is completely unfrozen...must have something to do with the amount of water.
Was lovely to catch this fantastic sunset. 😄
And once again the Moon 🌚 was up. He tried to hide behind some trees, but I saw him lurking.
On the zombie mission today we were trying to track a signal to the Comansis base (the company that apparently started the apocalypse). We figured out where they are, so I’m betting the next mission will be intense.
We tried to set a horde of zombies on fire. Turns out they don’t mind fire all that much and so we were chased by a mob of flaming zombies...fun times! Only one in the real world though. Got a fifty meter warning but evaded successfully anyway.
Got a letter from them in the mail.
And then there was Steemmonsters. Another day of screaming and pulling my hair out, wondering why I play this game. I had Fire AGAIN but that didn’t seem to matter. Lost all the way back down to Gold III. 😢
I ended up not having enough DEC to get a potion, but I was able to end the quest right at the bottom of Gold II.
Gotta’ give the productivity some gas here so I can feel a bit better about myself. Will be posting @solairitas weekly update (big news this week!) and attending PYPT on The Ramble, you should join us! 😀

It has been unseasonably beautiful out, hasn't it? I think about that every time I step out the door. My moon has been bizarrely visible. I want to tell it to go away, it is too early to make an appearance!
I write everything down. I have fleeting thoughts especially in the early morning and late at night. So I try to capture them because sometimes when I let my thoughts go, they have some good ones in there. :)

Wow, what an awesome busy day! I hear you about Steem Monsters. Just when I think I have an awesome hand I get totally obliterated. It definitely sounds like you have plenty going on! I work for a public school district and we have been back in session since Jan 2nd. I think if we could get some consistent temps things would start to freeze more. This back and forth is killing the ice fishermen though.
