Nov. 2, 19: Walking, Zombierun, Errands, and Relaxing

So much for the AutomaticWin today. I slept in all the way until nine o’clock! Been a really long time since I’ve slept in that long, but I guess I needed it. Meant that by the time I had woken up I had already missed two hours’ worth of activity, so I wasn’t very motivated to get my hours like I usually do...going to pay for it in the weekly stats; only six out of thirteen hours today! 🤭

Still, we got out shorty after we got out of bed and put in some pretty good distance. 😁

Only slightly above freezing 🥶 today, but the wind wasn’t too bad for the most part. Gloves, scarf, and hat were definitely in order though. At least the snow ❄️ from the other day has all vanished!

I know that, to some extent, those aren’t the most artistic photos...but I’m not just taking random photos of the sky. I thought it would be kind of cool to take the “same” picture every time I went out to be able to see the changes over time. Plus, most of the plants are dead and brown and most of the wildlife has either gone to sleep or said “screw this” and headed to warmer climbs.

The sun ☀️ and the clouds ☁️ were duking it out; seems that the clouds had the upper hand for the most part.

We definitely got a few warnings today, but the zombies weren’t too bad. All three of us evaded all six of the zombies, even the doggy! 😀💪

Finished up my daily Steemmonsters quest, but got knocked back pretty hard. I hate being stuck in silver with my leveled monsters all crippled; it’s annoying as hell! Rewards were kinda’ ho hum.

Ran some errands and did a bit of cleaning up, but that didn’t take up too much of the day. Mostly binge watching Amazon Prime with a bit of Phaser tutorials spattered in between. Thinking that it might be helpful to use a proper game engine rather than programming everything from scratch in vanilla JavaScript.

We’ve decided to head out to the woods tomorrow, since it’s highly likely that the bugs are frozen. It’s daylight savings tonight, so we should hopefully be able to get out an hour “earlier.”
