Nov. 6, 19: Walking, Zombierun, Working on My Game, and Teaching Trigonometry

Woohoo! Crushed it again today! Fatality...flawless victory! 🏃‍♂️

Up reasonably early this morning, checked out my Steem feed, chatted a bit on discord, and per usual beat my head against a wall trying to get my daily quest done. 🥴. I was just on the borderline on Gold II and got knocked all the way back down to like 1910 or so...just above silver. 😯. Still, I fought my way back and am holding around the middle of Gold III.

Got another naga warrior, but the battle queen was super nice; was able to level her up today. One more level and she will have tank heal, which is sorely lacking in the fire splinter otherwise.

Didn’t have too much planning to do, and all my grading is done for now, so I went and busted a nice long ten kilometer walk/run.

It was crazy today. There was literally one one zombie for the first five kilometers. I was thinking like “did they get frozen or did I forget to shower or something?” But they must’ve unfroze or I stumbled on a nest or I don’t know what but they started coming out of the woodwork!!!

Got a triple attack, one right after the other...super fricking hard; definitely got the twenty meter warning on the last of those. Even so, all TEN zombies evaded today! 😱😎

A tit bit nippley again today. The wind was a whailin’, which is when it’s wailing but with an ‘h,’ which is clearly worse. 😝

I got up pretty close to these guys...

They were taking advantage of the freshly tilled field.

It’s harvest time around these parts, and when I walked by the commodity exchange today, I saw it open for the first time! Semi-truckloads of corn and beans and wheat being loaded into huge silos. 🌽 🌾

Been spending a lot of time trying to work out ways to structure the background workings of my game so that it not only functions as I intend, but has the capability to be upgraded and/or expanded over time. I think I've resolved some of the issues and can start trying to code, but I'm still stuck on one of the key mechanics. It'll come to me soon...

In the evening I taught Trigonometry. We pounded a ton of examples of the ambiguous case (SSA), got some practice with determining when are and when there aren’t solutions, and solved some more triangles using the Law of Sines.

It is as if we played the same people😅. I also got close to gold II and then dragged down almost to the Silver league before going back to the middle area of gold III.
