Splinterlands - Diamond III league first time in the history

First of all, I'm going to split this post into several categories. Today I was able to reach first-time achievement on several things. It was not just the Diamond league entry that I'm talking about. I started playing the game casually and it ended up with a great surprise. I'm going to list out all the first time experiences in this article.

First time Diamond III league

As the title of the article says, for the very first time in history, I was able to reach the Diamond III league this season. I have been very consistent in playing this game religiously along with writing 1 article per day about this game. My efforts have not gone waste. I would say that this is definitely a big milestone for me. I will credit this progress completely to my investment of time and money on this game. Recently I upgraded my Earth deck to make it powerful with a level 6 summoner and other powerful cards.

My investment has really paid very well. Today I understood that the investment turned out very well through the continuous victory that I had in the game with Earth splinter. I have to tell that I might have been a little late in making huge investments in this game because I'm able to see many players buying several cards and upgrading their deck. I'm not very good at that but every single day, I was able to spend some time in this game and grab some basic rewards and I have also slowly invested on some of the cards in the game which is giving me good returns.

Flawless victory

Today I got Earth splinter as my daily splinter. I was able to complete the game with just 5 games in a row flawlessly. This is the first time ever I'm winning games in a row flawlessly. It was indeed a great experience on that as well. Every single game made me nervous but I was fortunate enough to achieve this.

I played a few games even after winning to reach the Diamond League and grab some extra cards. Now the Diamond III league gives me 40 cards. The winning streak even continued after completing my daily quest. I was waiting to reach the next level before I can claim the rewards for the day so that it can give me some more extra cards.

2801 rating for the first time

On this occasion, I have to also mention my first-time entry to 2801 ratings. Reaching the Diamond III league also gave me some good ratings. I'm not sure if my next game will let me sustain in this rating or drop me down, but I wanted to make sure I claim the rewards when I'm in the higher league to win extra cards.

Quest rewards

I have two quest rewards to be shared. I realized that I did not share my yesterday's quest reward as well. Below is the quest reward that I received yesterday. It was not very interesting apart from the Fire spitter that I received.

Below is the quest reward I received today after entering into Diamond League. While opening the reward cards one by one, for a card the screen started shaking to open a legendary card. I was very curious to see what legendary card it was but fortunately or unfortunately it was Fallen Specter card.

I did not imagine that I will have so many things to share from today's gaming experience but it was indeed a great experience and I believe the game will continue to give me some super excitements like today.
