Splinterlands - Taking a moment to appreciate Ruler of The Seas

Recently water splinter has been one of my favorite decks in the game. Not because I have been getting that regularly in the daily quests but because of the cards that I have in my deck. A few months back I received a legendary Ruler of the seas card from the quest rewards. I don't remember exactly if that was from quest rewards or from Season rewards but somehow that happened. After getting that card in the reward, I did not know the significance of the card. I was using it for some time in the battles.

One fine day I wanted to check the profile worth and then I noticed a drastic increase in the worth of my profile. I was surprised so much and started exploring to find out how my profile value or card value increased by so much. Then later I realized that this Ruler of the seas cards worth so much. Even today the card is worth 70$ but by then it was worth around 200 $ if I'm not wrong.

After getting this card, my gaming experience changed upside down. I used this card in almost every game that I play with water splinter and if I include this card in the game, it will be a sure win. Some of my friends came up with a suggestion to sell this card and purchase some summoners or even the normal Ruler of the seas card instead of the gold foil one. But after thinking a lot about that I did not go for it because it has been a lucky card in my deck and has helped me win so many battles and made me accomplish so much in this game.

I really appreciate this card and while playing a few games today, I really wanted to write about this card and my experience with this card. I guess I will also be writing about some of my other special cards as well. I'm not going to sell this card anytime soon. Now that I can see the price of the card is only 70$, it is not even worth to sell this card. I have to either go for burning the card later if at all I want to do it.
