Palnet.io...and now Splintertalk AND Steemcoinpan? (Also, giveaway πŸ‘Š )

The release of palnet.io came off as a total BANGER!, well for 20% of the people that could claim the drop.
It came to me as a surprise when I heard that statement on the P.A.L. discord. Only so few of the eligible were interested?

The moment palnet.io was released I immediately jumped on the wagon and went out exploring what all the fuss was about. It did seem very interesting to me, showed me an entire untouched, undiscovered side of the steem blockchain, and how much potential we are yet to stumble upon.

SMTs could have done this, and who knows even more. But, who has the time to wait when there is so much to be done. Steem-engine took "what could have been" and made it "what is". Now, it is just a matter of time to see "how far".

Palnet.io was exciting. I quickly claimed the tokens and staked them, it looked like the best choice. Of course, there were those who gave me a little bump by dumping and I bought the PAL tokens for cheap and I feel happy with my decision.

With the release of palnet.io ensued a wave of confusion. Not many understood the concept, and not many were patient. Some didn't know how it worked, some didn't understand how staking was being implemented. I, too, had my questions.

Before even getting used to the banging newcomer, I came across the post by @aggroed.
Oh boy, here we go again.
Splintertalk.io is here...

This was moving way too fast for me. I am not used to this. Again, I jumped on the wagon and wandered off learning about what is happening. To my pleasure, I got the hold of it pretty quickly thanks to planet.io

I knew the first few hours would be crucial. I logged into steem-engine and noticed I had nothing to claim. Weird. I immediately rushed to buy a few tokens with how much ever steemp I had handy at that second. Retrospectively, I should have waited considering how much dumping has ensued. But, I understood it was equally important to stake up and get my boxing gloves on. So I did. Now I got stake on SPT babeh!

While I was on steem-engine I decided to learn a little more about all the other tokens and to my dismay I had to come across steemcoin pan. Now this really is moving way too fast. My brain is too tiny to calculate all of this. I wasn't sure if I wanted to venture into buying the tokens without knowing what it is or what are the use cases. I spent a few minutes browsing through their interface and I did not really get the hang of it because of the language barrier.
Eventually, I realized it is similar to the previous two. It already was too late. The token prices were beginning to soar and I didn't have the guts to make a purchase or stake.

All in one, I do believe this is something that will do well for steem. Something we should look forward to and appreciate.
Between palnet and splintertalk's similarites, Blind does see a difference. * budumtsss *
I look at splintertalk as a broad forum for splinter-talk, to discuss, post and collaborate as Steem Monster enthusiasts or players. An exclusive platform for us to rejoice and make the most of. As for Palnet.io, by now you should know what you want to know.

Overall, I wish to see more use cases and branching out.
It excites me.

Moving on to the giveaway.

14 days back I announced a steemmonsters giveaway. Click here to read.

The entries have already closed and it is post-payout, so try to refrain from entering into the contest.

However, to enter this giveaway just leave a comment. It can be your steemmonsters gaming tag or anything you would like to add to this post. This time you are getting a card that represents how I felt when I got hit by the confusing wave - Exploding Dwarf

The aptly named Exploding Dwarves are newcomers to the Splinterlands. No one knows from whence they came; the Dwarves simply emerged from the Molten Mountain caverns a decade ago, quickly reproducing and settling across the Burning Lands. It is best to keep distance from them (especially when they are exploding).

It's a lot to process in a short time span. For the moment, this overload of new information confuses me. I'm partially responsible for that: I should take time to inform myself better.
I've been so busy that I only picked up some fragments of what Palnet is all about.

I did claim my airdropped tokens and I knew it was important to stake them. But that's about it, lol.

Maybe it would be a good idea to take some time tomorrow and read up on it...
