AFCON: Nigeria vs South Africa

South Africa defeated the host country, Egypt, in a match that ended 1 nil on Saturday. The Egyptians are now rooting for Nigerians. The defending champions, Cameroon, lost in a match that ended 3-2 to Nigeria on Saturday.

Today is the day the show goes down; Senegal will play Benin while Nigeria will play South Africa in the quarter final match.
The last time the Bafana Bafana won the trophy was in 1996 in a match that ended 2-0 against Tunisia.

Some facts;

The last time Nigeria and South Africa played head to head was in 2004, a match that ended 4-0 in Nigeria's favour (group stage).
Before then, they played a 2-0 in 2000 in semi-final
