Lord Arianthus is Killing It

The legendary reward card Lord Arianthus aka Lord Anus :), at the moment is selling for almost a 8$ a piece! Yep that is the price.

At the moment there is only 50 of these cards for sale on the market. I remember buying this card like a two months ago just for 1$. Now it it is almost 8$. Hell just few days ago it was 3$.

So what is causing the pump of the card? The players? Well not as much. The ones who wants to make some passive income out of it. Buying it and then renting it. Lord Ariathus has a great use cases in the game. It is the number one tank unit to use in the front, magic is almost useless against him, put a healer behind him and it is a winning combination. It is also a great unit for the snipe game. Oh, and it is Neutral monster. It can be used with every summoner. It is a must for every player. But being a reward card the price didn't reflected the value for a long time. Until now!

According to a report from @foggybottom where he put a statistics on reward cards, Lord Arianthus is 88% out. A 90% of the supply of the card is already being printed. Only 10% left to be rewarded.

This is an amazing example of markets at work. Lord Arianthus has a great use case, but because it was just given away, its values stayed low. Now when it is nearing the giving away for free era, its value is skyrocketing.

Also the renting aspect of the game. This may be the killer feature of the Splinteralnds game. Among many others :). The thing with the renting feature is that it is making the game attractive for investors. The people with money but no time. Making a project investor friendly is a big deal. We all know what happens when it is not (STEEM).

Another thing to keep in mind are also the Beta cards. They are also nearing to an end with only 18% left now. I imagen that at some point probably somewhere around the 10%, and investor will come along and just buy all the reaming cards at once.
