Splinterlands Season Final – Made it to Champion II
This Splinterlands season I made it to Champion II, ranking on the 85th place. It is my best ranking yet. Last season I managed to get to Champion III. There is only one more stair to climb to the highest league Champion I.
The reward for Champion II is 120 cards. That is nice and it is a big leap from the 80 cards for Champion III. The highest league Champion I have 150 reward cards.
As I wrote already in this post Splinterlands - From Gold to Champion I started climbing up the leagues about a month ago. Previously I was a long time in the gold league.
The hardest thing when leveling up cards is to level up the summoners. I decided first to level up to max Selenia Sky and just climb the leagues with her missing out the daily quest with the other summoners. Those were all at gold level. In this way I managed to get to Champion III in the previous season. This season I maxed out two more summoners, the Water summoner and the Earth summoner. Both alpha summoners. Having these maxed out allowed me to finish at least some daily quest and get reward cards.
I did some extra investment for these, and converted some EOS into the game. It is playing up nicely for now.
I’m planning to max out one more summoner this season, the Life one, and continue to max out the cards that I need. I still have a lot of cards to max out as well, but I see the summoners as the key cards to be maxed out first. Having three maxed out summoners will allow me to finish more daily quest and get more reward cards. Ever since the introduction of DEC I haven’t been playing the daily quests and I miss those. Now I will be able to play at least half of them.
I’m trying to get as much of the alpha cards, but those are getting more and more expensive. I will probably do a comprise on the ones that I play the least and go with a beta cards for them. For the cards I’m grinding DEC with, those will be alpha.
The thing is the competition is constantly increasing in the game and it is getting harder and harder to reach the top leagues. I guess this is what makes this game so valuable.
