Sometimes playing Steemmonsters can get very frustrating! Take for instance today! I did start the daily quest with Death, but after having fought 12 battles I only had won 2. In all other 10 I didn’t had even a slightest chance. I kept on running into player from Diamond I, who are trying to get into Champion III. So most monsters had level 8 and the legendaries most of the time level 4.

There was nothing I could do against it! So as last resort I tried to request a new daily quest hoping on Water or Life, but Fire is what I got. So the next 3 battles after the switch Fire wasn’t available. So far I have been able to play 6 battles with fire and only won once! Well it will be a hard day and on top of that my ECR is vaporizing. This also has a positive side effect, now I know for sure that I don’t have to chase Diamond II because that would be like committing suicide!

Booster packs!

Yep, it was time to buy some more booster packs. This were opened yesterday evening and I don’t regret buying them at all.
They did cost me $3.5 or 21.398 Steem.

Yep, a Golden Foil Tyrus Paladium. Juicy!

Yeah! Another Spirit of the forest. Finally I could bring here to level 2. This means that she has learned how to use the blast power! That is one extra step towards a decent Earth deck!

Decision time!

Today when playing it dawned to me that my Deck is good enough to reach Diamond III but that this is the end station. I do want to try to get higher but not with a too high cost! Since the opening of the booster packs of yesterday evening I do have 3 Golden Foil Summoners. It would cost x more to get them to level 6 from which moment on they are playable! Because I am not willing to invest so much steem into these cards, I decided that it would be better to say goodbye to them!
So all three are listed for Sale.

The combined listing value of all 3 of them is $28.95. So after paying the sale commission I would get $27.50 or 172 Steem. This than can be used to strengthen my deck! Probably this will be invested into trying to bring my legendary cards to level 2. I am thinking about the Lord of Darkness and the Elemental Phoenix. Both on level 2, would strengthen both my Fire and Death deck a lot!

Daily quest part II

Well I will have to postpone my daily quest and let my ECR regenerate a little bit. It is getting ridiculous!

A few hours later: Not much progress. One battle won with fire, so I do need to win 2 more!
Finally completed the daily quest! Well it did take 49 battles! Only 11 of those were won. I have never seen so many high level cards in my life! Imagine loosing 38 battles and only dropping 84 rating points. I guess this says enough!

Let’s find out if it was worth it!

Not bad, not good. Another Golden Archer always comes in nicely and the Phantom Soldier also can be considered a good pull.
Also the 500 DEC are happily accepted.
But the worst things is that the ECR had dropped towards 58.84%.
It was a long SM day!
