Daily quest rewards

Today I had the life splinter and finished my DQ easier than yesterday. After I finished my DQ I fought a few more battles so that I could round my DEC to the nearest 1000. I am actually very pleased with the DEC return I get from my gold cards. After I finished my daily quest I kept telling myself Gold manitcore Gold manticore... Well I opened my daily quest rewards and got a manticore it just wasnt' gold :(
