Returning to the Splinterlands

Earlier this year, you could say I was sort of addicted to Splinterlands (Steem Monsters), I used to do my daily quest everyday and even attempted to grind a lot of rating, I think the highest I managed to make it was like 2.6k but eventually it became a little monotonous for me and I started to be active less and less to the point where I barely logged in.

These past few days I have been attempting to get back on track on the game and boy, there's a bunch of new stuff, now there's another crypto tied to the game that you can earn while playing matches (this pretty much fixes my previous issue with not feeling like I was doing anything productive in the game after doing my five daily matches for the daily quest but now if you keep pushing, you can earn DEC and spend those at the new shop! Well at least new to me since I stopped playing on early march and none of these things where around.

I totally missed a couple of seasons and to my surprise when I log in my rank had dropped from 1600~ where it was before I stopped playing to a 52! My rank dropped to 52! lol

I see a lot of match making in the near future for me to recover my old rank and it's going to hurt a lot since the current season is ending in 4 days and I'll lose a bunch of points at the start of the next season but I'm ready for some grind! I also just learned about the Splintertalk community or tribe or whatever you want to call it, thats pretty much another update for the game and the community as far as I'm concerned! So time to return to the Splinterlands and earn some loot!

Looking forward to defeating you guys on the field (or getting my ass whooped whatever happens first I guess)
