Splinterlands- Splinter Evenly Split

When I first started playing I became fond of earth splinter and spend most of what I had raising only that splinter. The abilities tank heal and self heal from multiple earth monsters was appealing to me. (Although I did later on realzed that other spinters have multiple monsters with heal ability too, but earth was easier to notice as commons such as Golem and Wood Nymph had it.) After a short period of playing I had difficulty winning battles and was unable to complete daily quests. I then readjusted how I would build my deck by leveling monsters/summoners in all splinters rather than focusing on one splinter.

I think the creator of splinterland, @aggroed, designed the game intending players to develop all splinters team rather than focus on one or two splinters. That way players could only complete daily quests and battling up the ranks with a multiple splinters deck.

Since realizing my struggles with using only earth splinter I have gradually grew my deck to have somewhat of a even distribution of cards. Yet I have found it difficult to measure if my deck is really evenly distributed. What I mean? Well if I compare how much each of my splinter market value is or how many monsters at what level they are at or how many at which rarity or quantity of monsters and the list goes on and on...

The charts to follow is just my thoughts as to how I could balance my deck to make it more competitive. It does not mean it is the right way or the only way to do so. Just kick starting ideas to analyze decks to see where the weak links are and what next to invest in order to strength the deck.
Quantity of Playable Cards Both Summoners and Monsters Per Splinter

I have reasonable balance with how many playable cards in all (5) splinters and enough neutral cards to be in the mix. What the chart is now showing is the lack of level up monsters I have. I am currently in silver II/I rating mainly because my monsters are mostly level 2 and 3. It will take time to raise them up but eventually I hope to have my commons up to level 5 to max out the silver rank level limits.
Market Value Based on Peakmonster.com Summation

Money plays a big part in growing my deck so what better way to determine how I add to my deck than to know how much I am spending per splinter. Now my spending is quite uneven as I have a lot in life and fire. My current plan is spend my weekly steemit earnings on a splinter. However if a bargain deal is out there it would supersede my plan. So what has recently happened was there were more fire monsters and life monsters at what I considered reasonable discounts so I been buying up those monsters more than other splinters.

I am struggling to compete when it comes to earth and water splinter and the market value for both of these splinters for me proves I need to invest more into them. I will be looking to level up my Flesh Golem, and Crustacean King first! I really enjoy using healing ability in the formation. :p Other monsters in both earth and water splinter will need upgrades so hoping I do not go on a spending spree without upgrading those two splinters first. :p

Conclusion

Each of us has our own measurements as to how to raise our splinters up to where we can successful win and compete. (What we can mostly agree on is that growing multiple splinters helps in completing quest and winning consistently in battles.) How we measure is up to each owns interpretation. I am curious as to what other players have done in order to successfully complete daily quests and win battles constantly to rise up the ranks.
