The following tips and tricks will likely be familiar to those who play the game daily, but can still be a good refresher. For the rest please enjoy.

Know your opponent's formation before selecting your own formation

At the beginning of the battle setup when you see a window pop up with your opponent's name, you can hover over your opponent's splinter to see their previous matches formation, up to five matches. It will be a good gauge as to your opponent's summoner levels and monster levels as well as recent most preferred splinter of use.

I believe if you go into settings and adjust the last account setting to off it will disable your formations being able to be view by your opponent.

#Adjusting monster position when setting for battle

With a 3 minute window once steemmonster has found an opponent to when the battle begins it may sometimes seem to be insufficient amount of time to setup a formation. To further exacerbate sometimes your placement of monsters are not where you want them. Well if your selected monster is already in the lineup you can drag the monster up or down to rearrange position of each monster as you please. Hopefully saving you the crucial seconds you need to complete setup.

In the example below I was able to move the Silvershield Warrior up one spot and the rest of the monsters rearranged one position down respectively.

Use filter when selecting monsters in formation

Right out of the gate when Untamed was released a lot of cards were available for use by players. This made me have to go through scrolling around more often to select my ideal monsters for battle. The filter helps isolate specific monsters you wish to use and reduces the time with scrolling through the cards. I think this has become more important since Untamed arrived.
