New Line Divider for Splinterlands | Week 84

Introduction

Well, now that I am writing so many Splinterlands articles, I was growing tired of using the same line dividers again and again. So, I thought I would make a new one today.

This post is about the creation of the line divider. Though, I got to admit that the base material to make the final divider was already present and sourced through Pixabay. I will give due credit to those authors in the post.

The Base Material

As already stated, the base images were sourced through Pixabay. So, here are the two base images that I had sourced.

Line Divider Calligraphy

Here is the group of beautiful line dividers that were created by Analise and hosted on Pixabay.

Here it is.

Line Divider Source

The group line dividers formed my first image and the second image, to bring in a flair of Splinterlands, was from the Digital Artist. The image, again, was hosted on Pixabay.

Have a look:

These were the two images that I used to make our line divider.

Editing them Up

Now, in Analise's image, I just picked up one of the line dividers. I had to edit out the others and have only one. Here is the one I selected.

And the base Dragon image from Digital Artist's was taken and polished a bit. Here is the polished piece.

The idea was to get a brass look.

Bringing Them Together

Once the images were ready, I brought them together. And here's how they looked.

The image looked good, but the white pace above and below the line divider was not great. In an article, it would be taking much space. That wouldn't be great.

So, a final piece of editing was remaining.

Final Touches

I used MS-Paint to crop out the white space, and the final line divider looked like this.

Hmm. Now I am satisfied.

And this is what I am going to use in my next Splinterlands article. 😊

Before I go, What Game is Splinterlands?

Well, it is one of the earliest blockchain-based collectible games. Though I started playing the game quite late, on hindsight, I should have had got going early. Anyway, no need to despair, there is so many opportunities no matter when you start.

Splinterlands is a digital card game which allows you to collect, trade, battle, rent and even earn on the cards. It is one of the most generous games that I have seen where cards, potions, Dark Energy Crystals (DEC. Cryptocurrency) are given out every day to thousands of players for just playing and winning daily quests. And there are tournaments or guilds that you can join.

I hope that gives an overview of the game. I just love the game, and those interested can go to Splinterlands' site and join. If you want a link to join, I will leave one at the end of the article which you can use.

Scroll down, quick. 😊

So, that's it from me. I hope you enjoyed the line divider that I created. If you wish to use it, feel free to download and use. I am absolutely okay with that.

You don't need to give credit or mention my name. If you wish, you can still give credit to the original image hosts, mentioned in the base material section above.

Enjoy, and have fun! We will meet soon!
