At nearly eighty years old, Mother Khala is the oldest practicing summoner of Khymeria. Khala always wears a smile, and even in tournament battle she hums and whistles happy tunes to herself. She wears heavy knit clothing of various bright colors and carries a hand carved staff that seems to be the source of many of her magical powers..
For this week I wanted to make a MOTHER KHALA fanart, since last week I was using it a lot in my battles, I became obsessed with this letter.
I started by making the very simple sketch in my recycled sketchbook. First it had occurred to me to make only the face of this character, but in the end I decided to make it complete.
Then I started working with color, using paints. I didn't want to change the appearance of the character much this time and I wanted to make it as original as possible.
Finally I ended up doing the details, shadows and doing the linear throughout the drawing, I have already said that I like to do the linear with graphite pencil, because then I can blur those lines and the work looks a little more realistic.
