Sorcerers of the deep

This week's Share you Battle challenge is about these guys!

The Coral Wraith is an epic card from the water splinter, and although I don't use it that often, it's an aswesome card in some situations and rulesets!

His biggest weakness? Squishy. Starts with only 2 HP, reaching only 4 at max level, and no armor. But, on the bright side:

• Only 4 mana, which makes it a really versatile card
• 2 magical damage, reaching 3 at max level; combine it with Alric and you have a 3 magical damage card at base level!
• Sneak ability!

Sneak ability is the biggest bonus for me: very few cards in the game have sneak magical attack, and a well armored monster in the back can sometimes be eliminated quickly with just a couple of magical attacks... or only one (see the following battle!).

My favourite uses? Little league ruleset, and low mana battles. In these situations this card is great, even at low levels! Mine is only at level two.

Rulesets:

• Little league: max 4 mana for monsters and summoners

Water splinter has great cards for this ruleset, hence my choice. And here's my lineup:

• Spineback turtle - one of the best little league tanks for me
• electric eels - a great offtank, very fast AND with blast ability
• Medusa for a decent magical attack and stun
• Coral wraith, place mid lineup for some protection agains snipe or sneak attacks
• Crustacean king, my healer and with the added armor bonus
• Naga windmaster, the ranged debuff is really helpfull in this ruleset!

The opponent's last two monsters had only 1 HP! The enchanted defender is a good choice in this ruleset, to prevent against melee sneakers... but it's an easy prey for magical damage!

Gone in the first round. My tank was able to last, and the windmaster nerf helped to mitigate the archer's damage. And with the second round, came the second Coral attack, and another one shot kill.

And by this time, with all the melee attackers gone too, it was an easy win. You can see the entire battle here!

As you can see, even at low levels, there's definitely a good use case for this card!
