Road Construction Grinds To A Halt

The Council of Barons has been planning an infrastructure project for some time, namely roadways and highways to connect the outlying villages and towns to Beluroc proper. This has been seen as an important step forward in creating a stronger economy for all residents of Mortis. The living side of the continent anyway.

Yesterday, several roving bands of seemingly friendly and tame Rexxies decided to play games with the heavy equipment being used to excavate the roadways. Crates of shovels and picks were tossed about and even an entire wagonload of gravel was hauled away from the construction site.

Authorities believe these are likely the progeny of the Rexxies that escaped several weeks ago and will be rounded up and returned to Anumun as with the other Rexxies.

Rambling Man Rambles Through Briar Patch, Regrets Decision

We've all seen Terrence Dorrington walking around our streets, the young man always with his nose in a book, studying to become one of the Wizards one day. And while it is difficult to say whether or not he will ever reach his goal, we've all seen his natural magical talents blossoming as he practices.

And if you were near the East Gate yesterday, you'd have seen something else too: Terrence, nose firmly in his book, walking directly into the Rasterberry Bramble old man Rudolph keeps to make his famous jams.

"I know the young man is dedicated, but the damn fool came out looking like he lost a fight to a hillkat. Learnin's good, watchin' your feet is a might bit better some days. Hopin' he learned real good that time."

It is important to point out that Terrence wasn't harmed too badly by the experience and seemed in good spirits once the medics slapped some bandages on him.
