Season is ending and I wanted to give the potions a try. I vaguely saw an article from @simplymike mentioning the great rewarding experience (some time ago before all the upgrades) about getting some really juicy cards from the season ended rewards (maybe) with the help of the potions.

I tried it before from my last ended quest with the potion of raising the stakes for a gold card. I didn't get one though, but I ended up getting 3 rares...

Fortunately I have started having a better acquaintance with the Beetle Queen so leveling up was a good idea with that tiny spent of 48 DEC

So now with extra charges of 5 LEGENDARY (probability) POTIONS and 2 extra charges of ALCHEMY (probability) POTIONS I am going to see if they will be used at season end rewards and if that allow me to strike some gold from the 18 cards I am going to receive.

I have been very unfortunately slaughtered by level 4 - 5 cards even with lower ranking cards so I better not battle anymore, stay put at my border-ly passed ranking and wait for the next season before trying again for Water Quest.

Without the handicap it might be taking a longer time to complete but I guess it is ok.... I can just do it later with lower ranks and work my way up again.

Life is hard in the Splinterlands when you bump into the wrong camp with limited resources haha.
