Steem Monsters For A Cause.

Hello @kryptokayden here, @freedomshift created this account to help a fellow Steemian @inahthewarrior, the goal is this account is to build up and grow its Steem Monsters account value and to create some form of income whichever way possible by playing STEEM Monsters, i.e selling DEC for STEEM, selling cards from reward etc. @freedomshift asked me to handle the account and play for Inah, as you all know I am one of the active supporter of helping @inahthewarrior raise funds for their very expensive medications and supporting her in general. I love playing Steem Monsters and I would love to help Inah so I just can't say no. Another reason is I play too much on my main account to the point that my Energy Capture Rate is too low so it's nice to have an alternate account to play to recharge my ECR on my main account lol. I love STEEM Monsters a lot and you probably see me very active on the Steem Monsters Discord channel.

That being said I am writing here to ask people to help me and @freedomshift, freedomshift made her the Steem Monsters account with the starter cards on it and sent 20+ beta packs to get it going. I have sent some cards as well to upgrade the deck and some liquid STEEM to help with the upgrades. I am asking for your help in the form of gifting her cards, delegating cards, sending STEEM for upgrades and rentals or sending her account DEC for other stuff. Every little bit helps! Everything is on the blockchain so you can see the account's activity for transparency, and @inahthewarrior holds the account master password and I am only using her posting key. Good day everyone!

So after knowing Steemit for about 2 years now, I finally pull the trigger and joined. Here is my story.

My name is Karen, I am from the Philippines, mother or a beautiful daughter and a registered nurse. Like every woman, I was so happy when we found out we are expecting almost 3 years ago. We are even happier when we found out we are expecting a baby girl!

Fast forward a few months, the time has come, this is finally it. I was sent to the hospital to give birth to our precious little daughter! Me and my husband are so excited. And then I finally gave birth, I was resting and recovering when the doctor came to me and gave us the worst news I have ever hear heard in my life, our little princess is diagnosed with Ohtahara Syndrome. It broke me and my husbands heart but it never made us love our daughter less, in fact, it only made us love our daughter even more.

So what is Ohtaha syndrome?

Ohtahara syndrome is a neurological disorder characterized by seizures. The disorder affects newborns, usually within the first three months of life (most often within the first 10 days) in the form of epileptic seizures. Infants have primarily tonic seizures, but may also experience partial seizures, and rarely, myoclonic seizures. Ohtahara syndrome is most commonly caused by metabolic disorders or structural damage in the brain, although the cause or causes for many cases can’t be determined. Most infants with the disorder show significant underdevelopment of part or all of the cerebral hemispheres. The EEGs of infants with Ohtahara syndrome reveal a characteristic pattern of high voltage spike wave discharge followed by little activity. This pattern is known as “burst suppression.” Doctors have observed that boys are more often affected than girls.

Having Ohtahara Syndrome is something no parents would wish to the worst of their enemies, Inah's ability are very limited and she require constant care, which as a nurse fortunately I can provide. Treatment is lifetime and it very expensive, especially here in the PH. I had to stop working to take of Inah full time and make sure she are well looked after. Only my husband is working now and to be honest it is not enough to cover her expenses as we most of the time have to take her to the hospital especially when she is having recurring seizures.

Inah turned 2 years old last February and we are trying to give her the most comfortable live she could ever lived.

Here is Inah taking a little swim with her cousins.

Me and my husband is never losing hope that one day Inah can live normally and enjoy her life. I am asking everyone to include her in her prayers and I am shamelessly asking for a little financial help if there are people here who can. Ohtara Syndrome is a serious condition and a very expensive one to maintain but we are not giving up. If you can send some help and prayers our way, it will be really appreciated.
