Quick Review of 8 Blockchain Games That I'm Playing + Fanart from Rada Quest Character by Gris

I was introduced to videogames when I was about five years old. I remember that my father bought a Nintendo Entertainment System one Christmas and we could not stop playing. My brother, my cousin and even my father enjoyed playing games like Mario Bros., Dr. Mario, Duck Hunt and even one that had a little mattress and you stepped on it to run in Olympic events. My father was very good at Dr. Mario, he was able to beat the final level, but he stopped playing because his eyes turned red very fast.

We traded that NES for an SNES, we played all kinds of games, then we got a N64 with Star Fox 64 and two controllers. The Nintendo era came to an end for us when we bought a PlayStation, then we had a PlayStation 2 and also an Xbox. I played a lot of video games in my childhood and teenage years. Maybe I lost a lot of time, maybe I just won great experiences. I'm not sure about this, but I'm sure that games have changed a lot, at least for me. In recent posts I have said that I'm no longer willing to spend my time for nothing or just for fun. With Blockchain games now your time (and money) become an investment and at the same time that you are having fun you can make more crypto and you have the possibilities of winning money.

Blockchain games may not be the best way to make a living, but it is a better way to spend our time. Games have changed, the revolution is here and even though most Crypto or Blockchain games are still very simple I'm sure that with some time, development and with more ideas Blockchain games will become as impressive as modern games in terms of graphics, gameplay and narrative.

These are Some of the Blockchain Games I'm Playing Right now:

Prospectors

I found this game while browsing Dapp Review sites. It caught my attention because it had a lot of players, I think that it was closely followed by @SteemMonsters or Vice Versa. This game is on the EOS Blockchain and even though I had to invest some money to create an EOS wallet I'm very happy with the game. Everyday I am able to make about 10,000 Gold and that is translated into 10 PGL. At the moment of wirting this post 1 PGL can be sold for 0.0155 EOS, about 0.06 USD with the current prices.

The game is easy to play, there are many guides online. If you want to advance faster you may need to buy some gold so you can get the proper tools for your workers. You only have three workers but if you invest enough gold you can rent a property and the hire other workers tomine resources, to build workshops or to make some tools. So far I have only work for other people and maybe later I will invest on a plot.

If you want to play this game and also support me you can use my referral link. Me and my workers will thank you a lot. You can also reach out to me on Discord eddiespino#1694 if you have any doubts with the game or with setting an EOS account.

This is the first video of the Official Prospectors Tutorial:

Crypto Idle Miner

This is a game that I have been playing on my cell phone for about three months. The game is a crypto mining simulator with some of the most famous coins. You can build a massive crypto farm and rank up in the leaderboards. With this one I'm not really sure if it is going to pay out all the time that I have invested. And it's not really a Blockchain game, but you can earn HORA Tokens on the Tron Blockchain. The game is fun, it has good graphics but a lot of ads. There is a VIP membership that you can get for about 3 USD but I don't think it's worth it, at least right now.

They are updating the game soon so I hope this can rise up the value of the token because it's arong 0.0135 TRON and 1 Tron is only 0.017 USD. If you want to play this is my referral link. My rig administrators will be very happy.

SteemMonsters/Spinterlands

image.png

I do not have a lot to say about this one. Only that I enjoy playing everyday and I strive to complete my daily quest. @SteemMonsters is a great game. I have bought many cards and I have also sold great cards for high prices. Last Christmas I sold a golden legendary for 100 USD. It was a great Christmas gift for myself. I will keep playing even though I am an average player. Last few seasons I am placing between Gold I and Diamond III, I would need to build better teams or rent some cards.

If you are not already playing SteemMonsters I invite you to use my referral link.

Crypto Wars

image.png

image.png

This is another blockchain game that I just started playing. It is fun, balanced and with a nice interface. I am just starting in the game and I have a lot of things to learn. There are tournaments where you can earn tokens (I think ERC20 tokens in the Ethereum Blockchain) but so far I have only participated in one and I didn't win.

In order to win and rank up in the leaderboards you must build your village: develop barracks, mines, vaults, workshops and also train your army to defend yourself and to loot other villages. To sum things up it is a classic browser game with the possibilities to earn some crypto. If you want to play this game and also support me I invite you to use my referral link.

The game will feature smart contracts and true ownership of the in game items, still in development but making a lot of progress.

DrugWars

image.png

This is a game most steemians have played or at least have read about. At the beginning you could earn a lot of Steem by investing in your "drug factories" but after a few months the game collapsed and had to change their payout ways. I still play it, just for fun, now they are giving a Steem-Engine token that may get more value. Let's see how things evolve.

NextColony

@NetxtColony is another Steem game that has been very successful. I have played this game for several months, I am not a very big player but I think I have made good advancements. To be honest I'm not sure how to win Steem or any crypto in this game but it is fun for me. If you know how to do thi please send me a tip or suggestion, I know that you can explore the space colonize planets and then you can sell them or something, but I'm really not sure.

SkyWeaver

image.png

SkyWeaver is a trading card game on the Ethereum Blockchain. It is similar to SteemMonsters but it has more interactivity in the games. In SkyWeaver you can choose which card to play and you can use more strategy, it wars similar to Hearthstone. The designs are great and the battles are fun and sometimes very long. Cards have very different effects and there have been times where I thought I was about to win but the opponent was able to recover and destroyed in epic ways.

The community in Discord is very friendly and they may have give you a Beta Pass if there are still available, ask for Marcelo, he speaks Spanish, Portuguese and English. SkyWeaver Discord.

This game has not come out yet, but you can start participating by making purchases of their token called Taruk. The game will be a Fantasy Trading Card Game, you can visit their website to see some of the designs for the cards: https://radaquest.net/. The game is developed by @marcosdk and the @radaquest project team has several accounts in the Steem Blockchain, they are very active and they also curate gaming and entertainment content. And to finish this long post with the Blockchain/Crypto Games that I am playing I will share an illustration that my girlfriend Gris made (@grisvisa). It is a fan art of Ivone (Divine Hammer) a character from Rada Quest made by @marcosdk. This is a chibi / cute / kawaii version, we hope Marcos like it.

This is Gris Version:

That was all for today, I had fun making this post and I will continue playing all this games to see how much I can earn in Crypto and to follow the development of each project. Till next time @eddiespino.

I've tried the game and it's great. You can contact Marcelo on their Discord to get a beta key quicker. They even have a mobile app that works great and something I forgot to mention is that they got like 1.3 million from the co-founder of Reddit. The game looks promising.
