Greetings, my entry to the Steemmonsters art contest is inspired by the Kraken, this dreaded creature of the seas.
Steps
First draw a sketch with graphite pencils HB, 3B and 6B and then digitize with a Scanner.

First draw a sketch with graphite pencils HB, 3B and 6B and then digitize with a Scanner.
Coloring
Then I proceeded to color with the paint bucket tool, just the base with a purple hue.
Shadows and Lights
Later the shadows and the lights on another layer superimposed on the base of purple color, with darker shades for the shadows and with a lighter shade for the lights.
Background
Finish with a background in dark blue and black tones with some frame effects to slightly eliminate the flat appearance of the color.
