First we had Steem and SBD, then PAL was added, now I can add SPT tokens to that
I know I'm a bit behind of most people when it comes to earning these tokens
Because yes, I've seen all the posts about SPT, PAL etc on my feed, but until yesterday I've only used the palnet tag for my posts to earn tokens besides Steem en SBD. I haven't made a Steemmonsters post in a while, so that was also a reason not to start earning SPT tokens... Until yesterday that is, I decided I was going to write a post about my end of season rewards.
Rewards somehow can't be claimed in steem-engine
When I went to my @steem-engine wallet today I noticed that I had SPT rewards waiting to be claimed. Unfortunately, this never goes well with the PAL tokens, I always need to claim them on palnet instead, and this was the same for the SPT tokens. To claim them I decided to login on splintertalk.io for the first time, where I could successfully claim my rewards. To my surprise I saw my blog from yesterday had a 148 SPT reward on it.
Mainly thanks to the @teampossible account that had a 142 SPT vote on my post. I have no idea of the value that SPT has at the moment, but it doesn't really matter anyway, because I'm planning on staking them.. It's nice to earn several tokens for one post, and I will make sure I write about steemmonsters more often from now on..
What do you think about the different tokens you can earn by using the corresponding tags? What are your favourite tokens?

I've been earning pal for weeks now plus a bit of Leo and now another coin called Jahm.... Oh yeah and DTC (DTube coin).... It's raining tokens over here 😂

I plan on making done more reggae posts soon. It is a very niche community and coin, but lucky for me I love reggae 🇯🇲

Lol, I used palnet since a few weeks as well but not from the start.. decided to look into it after our holiday.. but the SPT is quite nice compared to the pal earnings so far.. either way, sweet to get rewarded on multiple platforms :) Thinking of putting my toddler on video to start DTubing soon.. reminds me to sign up there.. :)

I've not heard about SPT, I haven't been airdropped any. What content are they focused on?
Yes, I agree. But I'm looking at what is happening with the tribes and I'm thinking the way to go is to pick 2 or 3 content specific ones maximum, and really focus on them (otherwise you'd never sleep 😉). The ones that are my specialties, like creative coin coming out soon, and DTube and maybe a little reggaesteem just cause I love reggae music lol and they're building some type of model where you can redeem tours and accomodation in Jamaica 🙂 would love to go back to the Carribbean and visit Jamaica where I never made it last time. Obvs palnet cause... Why not.
SPT = splinterlands.. and I play steemmonsters so when I write about that I can use that tag.. but it's not a topic I write about daily ;)
